## What is Equiyd Capture?

IMPORTANT: Equiyd Capture works as part of the Equiyd ecosystem. You must first download the free Equiyd Horse Management app, create your account and add your horses.

Once your Equiyd account is set up, upgrade to Equiyd Professional through Horse Management, download Equiyd Capture and sign in using the same Equiyd login details. Your horses are automatically connected across both apps.

More than a horse riding tracker

Equiyd Capture turns your phone or smartwatch into a powerful riding and movement sensor, recording your horse while you train without requiring additional hardware.

Track:

• Gait and time spent in walk, trot, canter and gallop
• Trot and canter cadence
• Rhythm and movement patterns
• Speed, distance and duration
• GPS route and full ride playback
• Training workload and session intensity

Build a baseline for your own horse

Capture does more than record a single ride. As you use it, Equiyd begins building an individual movement baseline for your horse.

Compare sessions, understand what is usual for your horse and identify changes in cadence, rhythm, workload and movement patterns over time.

When a Capture session is completed, it connects back to the horse in Equiyd Horse Management.

Your riding data no longer sits as an isolated activity. It becomes part of a connected record alongside the horse's training, exercise, care, profile and performance history.

Combine telemetry with AI video analysis

Equiyd also brings together Capture telemetry with AI-powered riding and video analysis.

Analyse ordinary riding video for horse and rider performance, gait, biomechanics, rider position, jumping technique, strengths, areas for improvement and training recommendations.

Together, video and telemetry provide a richer picture of how the horse is moving and performing.

No additional hardware required

Use the sensors already inside your phone or compatible smartwatch. Capture can also connect with compatible external sensors when you want to add deeper telemetry, including additional movement, straightness and symmetry information.
