I was here when this game was in its infancy and I’ve been on and off for years but it’s usually like that with most games you play. I recently returned to the game about 3 months ago and now this game is absolutely unplayable. The RNG is some of the worst I’ve seen in any game, the dice rolls are practically predictable I’m certain hero match ups, they keep adding new broken mechanics that are taken advantage of by veteran players who have been either playing for years or just pay to play the entire game, they only update certain characters and will reupdate the same hero’s over and over while others still have their base moves from when the game first started, and the developers have no interest in really correcting any of the significant issues that break the game or just make the game rage inducing for players who don’t want to spend their entire day and wallet to be just to be competitive let alone a average player. Really cool concept with dope hero art but really just not worth the time or effort for a casual player. I have been kicked out of matches claiming internet connection lost and I end up losing points. I have over 500mb/sec for my WiFi. I SHOULD NOT BE LOSING POINTS FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT MY FAULT. And I know when it’s the other player. As much money that I have spent in the ten years I’ve played this game through different accounts, you fools should be able to patch this. Bad enough it’s slow and still as buggy as it was back in 2014, but the points issue is where I draw the line. It affects my ranking, it affects my overall victory percentage, and it makes my account look bad to other players thinking that I’m the one who left. You’ll be able to play through to silver and have some level of fun, but there is 0 chance of progressing into the higher ranks without paying for cards. As soon as you hit gold you realize every single card that you got and took all of your time to level to three the entire time you’ve been playing has already been massively powercrept. ABSOLUTE MINIMUN $100 to stay strong enough to compete for the current update. Unless you spend this money the only possible chance of you winning at certain ranks is if your opponent completely whiffs on their dice rolls. You’ll see that there are cards that will do 4 to 5 times your damage with far less requirements making everything you own completely useless.
