The home screen keeps both the start and end of a fast visible, even after it begins. Times follow your selected city, and Hanukkah times are consistent across screens. If the calculation method cannot provide an end time, I let you know. ### 3.7.1 — 2026-09-10 Your next few days are clear at a glance, each holiday in its place on the Jewish calendar. For Rosh Hashanah I open a space of its own: the sound of the shofar, a letter to your future self, and a game built on the simanim, the symbolic foods of the New Year table. Come Friday, your Shabbat times are waiting before you think to look, and the kosher scanner is never far. ### 3.7.0 — 2026-09-09 Until Yom Kippur, three experiences await on your home screen. The shofar: hold to sound the calls. Share the sound you just played, with your own words. Your letter: take a moment for yourself, write, then seal the envelope. I’ll return it during next year’s event. Matching pairs: eight boards to unlock, a Challenge mode with a timer and limited help, and a Relax mode without the pressure. Learn the rules through a playable example and replay boards you’ve already unlocked. Sharing is simpler, with a message or a card. Holiday guides are easier to reach, and returning from prayers is more straightforward. Choose a food and its blessing appears in front of you as the keyboard closes. Reminders open the right content, with clearer settings. You choose whether to receive a reminder for the prayer after a meal with bread. These changes are available in all four languages. ### 3.6.0 — 2026-08-23 Saturday, 10:45pm. The little one is asleep. You are holding the braided candle in one hand and the phone in the other. Erev was waiting for you. HAVDALAH IS HERE The vocalized text, one blessing at a time, in large letters, on a screen that does not go dark while you read. It shows up after your city's own end time, never before. And until you have said it, it stays: the app waits for you. THE TOP OF THE SCREEN GIVES YOU A TIME And the right day. On Thursday, shopping day, it has already moved to Shabbat. On the eve of Yom Kippur it says Yom Kippur. IT ALL WORKS OUT ON YOUR PHONE Times, holidays, the parasha. TISHREI, TO THE MINUTE The times for the three Shabbatot that run straight into a Yom Tov, for the Fast of Gedaliah and for Yom Kippur are now locked down by tests, city by city. And when a holiday follows Shabbat, the app no longer wishes you "Shavua Tov": it announces the holiday. TWO HOLIDAYS THAT WERE MISSING Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah finally have their own guide: the story, the essentials, what people do, what to avoid, the sources. Israel and the diaspora are both described, without ever deciding for you. The library now holds 25 holiday guides. PRAYERS SET STRAIGHT The Ashkenazi Amidah finally has its own blessing labels, and so does Birkat Hamazon. Baruch Shem is back in the bedtime Shema. A word that does not exist has been removed from the Hebrew text. In the Edot HaMizrach rite, the app says plainly that it currently serves the Sephardi text. Every label exists in four languages. TISHREI IN YOUR CALENDAR Tap a day in the calendar: its sheet finally opens, with the times for your city. "Add to Calendar" places ONE single event there, from Friday evening to Sunday evening when the holiday runs straight on from Shabbat. Nothing syncs behind your back, and Erev never reads your calendar. HOLIDAY NAMES IN YOUR LANGUAGE Twenty-nine holiday names still came out in English: the Fast of Gedaliah, Shemini Atzeret, seven Israeli civil days. They are now translated in all four languages. And "Shabbat Rosh Chodesh" is no longer announced backwards. SUPPORTING EREV A clearer screen to support the app, with the amount you choose. And Erev no longer asks you for anything during Shabbat, a holiday or a fast. The essentials stay free, as always. A COUNTDOWN THAT HOLDS The Live Activity now updates instead of vanishing, no longer flickers when the app restarts, and always aims at the right deadline. SHARING AND SCANNING The times card you share now carries the app link with it. And with no signal, the scanner says "No network" instead of blaming the product. SPANISH FIXED Lost accents are back, and the prayer countdown finally speaks Spanish.
