## What is Ergon?

Ergon is an execution system for people whose days are already full.

Most planners hand you an empty grid and assume a free day. Ergon starts from
the day you actually have: it reads your calendar so it never books over a
meeting, subtracts the hours you have told it are yours — lunch, dinner, the
school run, a sit — and lays your work into what is genuinely left.

KNOW WHAT MATTERS
• Choose three things that decide the day, not a list of forty
• A planner that re-plans when the morning goes sideways
• Break work into steps as deep as it needs to go
• An Eisenhower matrix for when the list stops making sense

PROTECT THE TIME
• Focus sessions with a real shield over the apps that interrupt you,
  using Apple Screen Time
• A Live Activity keeps the countdown on your Lock Screen
• The shield lifts the moment the session ends

CLOSE THE DAY HONESTLY
• An evening shutdown that asks what actually happened
• Blocks that came and went are surfaced with a decision: reschedule,
  done, or drop
• A weekly review that reads back what you finished, not what you meant to
• Renewal tracking across body, mind, social and spirit — planned as real
blocks, not whatever is left over

YOUR WORK STAYS YOURS
• No account to create. No login, no profile, no password
• No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no trackers
• Sync goes through your own private iCloud, which we cannot read
• Backups are plain files written to a folder you choose
• Optional AI runs on an API key you supply and pay for directly, sent
straight to your provider — there is no server of ours in between

ERGON PRO
Capture, plan, focus and review are free forever. Pro adds backup and restore,
the full time report and analytics, the Eisenhower matrix, renewal tracking
and unlimited projects. Available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time purchase.

Requires iOS 16.1 or later. App blocking uses Apple Screen Time and is
available on iPhone and iPad.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.7 — 2026-10-10

Run your day by voice with Siri.

• Add tasks hands-free: "Add a task to Ergon", then "call the bank tomorrow at 3pm". The date, time and project are set for you.
• Hear your day: "What's on my list in Ergon", "What's overdue in Ergon".
• Finish or reschedule without opening the app: "Complete a task in Ergon", "Move a task in Ergon".
• With Apple Intelligence, change several things in one sentence: "Change my plan in Ergon" — "push everything this afternoon to tomorrow morning". Ergon reads it back and only changes anything when you say yes.

Also new: a Support link in Settings to report a problem and follow it, and links from your calendar open the right task again.

Settings › Siri lists every phrase.

### 1.2.6 — 2026-10-08

Ergon asks for a rating only after it has earned one, and never more than a few times a year. Launch fixes for iOS 27.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-10-02

• Scheduled steps stay visible under their task — a step with its own time block used to vanish from the parent's checklist. It now stays listed, with the scheduled time shown beside it.

• Completing a step on the planner actually completes it — ticking off a step appeared to do nothing because the list never heard about the change. Fixed.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-17

The focus timer counted an app switch as three interruptions, not one — and that number feeds the focus log and the calm score, so a glance at a message read as a session in pieces. It counts the break now, not the notifications about it.

• A calendar left over from Kairo is renamed to Ergon where it stands. Every event stays put; nothing is moved or recreated.
• The dashboard counted your whole backlog as work that failed to fit today, so a day with nothing due could be announced as seventy hours over. It counts only what today was actually promised, and says nothing once the working day is over.
• Undo on more deletes. Swiping a step away, or deleting one from inside a task, puts the real rows back — the same ids, the schedule, the calendar link, and anything nested inside. Whether you could recover something used to depend on which screen you were on.
• Notifications Ergon has already delivered clear themselves when you open the app. A running session keeps its countdown.
• Settings › Profile can run setup again, and the last setup question asks for one thing instead of three.

Fixed
• The settings gear was missing from task and project screens, and sat somewhere different on almost every other one. It is in the same place everywhere now.
• Six screens — analytics, the matrix, the weekly review, shutdown, renewal and the focus log — were reachable only through a dashboard card that can be switched off.
• Two rows on the task screen ran off the edge: a long project name, and the subtasks heading on a small phone.
• The planner claimed a fully booked calendar when the working day had simply ended.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-14

A set of blocked apps per activity.

• Deep work can shut everything; a run can leave music alone. Pick the set on the Focus screen right before you start — it applies to that sitting only and leaves your default alone.
• Repeating jobs show their history: how many times a thing has been done, and when. Tap an entry to open that occurrence.
• A project now shows one row per repeating job instead of one per time it was finished.
• The blocked-app count is honest. It used to add apps and whole categories together and call the total "apps", so one category shielding thirty of them read as "1 app".

Fixed
• Ticking a step in the planner did nothing when that step had steps of its own. It now says why.
• Archiving a project was one-way — no way back and nothing listed it. The archive now holds projects too, with a restore.
• "Already up to date" appeared every time the app was reopened, from a sync nobody asked for.
• A scheduled block announced itself twice, five minutes apart. Now once. Tasks with a due date do the same.
• Reminders you have already seen clear themselves when you open the app.
