I would be annoyed if I paid this for 1 child. Definitely a missed opportunity like the above review says. If there is no mute button please slide up the menu from the bottom of the iPad screen to find the mute button icon. If you still cannot hear sound, please try the following: Go to Settings > General. Under "Use Side Switch To" please ensure that the "Mute" option is selected, and not the "Lock Rotation" button. Then ensure that the Lock / Unlock setting is switched on (to unlock). You might have to restart your device afterwards. But if you don't want to access that feature you can interact with all the animals and progress without granting access to the microphone. We love recording our own animal sounds, and sometimes record us saying the names of the animals, instead. At first the sound wasn’t working, but I emailed support, and someone responded promptly, the next day, with the exact suggestion I needed to make the sound work (by turning off the mute switch!). **Developer response:** Hello. It is one all my students know and love.
