### 2/5 — Doesn’t Display Correctly with IOS 16

*2023-08-27, version 9.2.1*

This is a great app on older iPads. Upgraded iPads for faster connections and larger screens and can no longer use this app. Hopefully Ericom fixes this soon!

### 4/5 — Excellent

*2018-02-15, version 8.1.2*

This remote client is an excellent performer in most aspects. There are only two flaws, one minor and the other, unfortunately, major, but easily addressable. First, the keyboards setup is somewhat awkward, understandably because they are very thorough, but by relocating their basic kb (Esc, Tab, Shift, etc.) closer to the standard IPhone kb one could avoid having to travel the whole screen up and down to enter one of the key combinations (CTRL-V, CTRL-C, Tab, etc.). A major inconvenience, however, is the implementation of the touchscreen features. The desktop is very slow in responding and control is not easy. On the dashboard, editing of the different connections or when creating a new one is very difficult and frustrating since the screen is very insensitive to the touch and at times simply do not respond. Other than these points I think this app has nothing to envy from the Microsoft app and actually, in my opinion, the ability to use the app in both the landscape and portrait orientation gives AccessToGo the edge.

### 1/5 — Thank you to whoever tried and spent time "creating" this app

*2015-03-26, version 3.5.1*

Whoever created this app,
"I don't know who you are (and I don't really care much either).
And, I don't know what you want (from iOS).
But,
I'll look for you,
I'll find you,
and then, I'll decide what to do with U.

I have used many remote control apps, but this app is the one that most stood up against all of 'em. It has the worst possible interface and makes you think that "iPads are useless" as one of my teachers said. If you want to use Java or Flash, just don't use it and find alternate ways to view the animation, thankfully there are many alternative ways to view animations these days. Or, if you have the money and want to spend on something really worthy, buy everyone a Puffin browser and view those ....ing animations.

But, thank you for the time you spent reading and downloading the worst 18MB of app data since the dawn of mobile applications.

I wonder if this thing is the 3.5.1 version, what would have the previous versions looked like.

### 3/5 — Dr Bartels

*2015-02-20, version 3.5.1*

Right now, I am a bit frustrated w this product. The screen rotation has stopped working. This product is a bit quirky but learning to use it is not terribly troublesome. Learning is fairly intuitive if one has a good deal of computer and iPad experience.
I really, really want the cursor keys to become functional: they are not.
I have learned the mouse, keyboard, scrolling, and other eccentric features pretty well.
Learning to block select is still clumsy for me.
I think a tutorial option each time this is opened would help a lot.
I was able to speed up the product substantially by reducing the presentation to 16 bit from 32 bit color. And, the color remained quite excellent as did resolution. At 8 bit, the resolution for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) work for attached pdf/fax files was inadequate. It was adequate at 16 bit.

### 1/5 — Do not upgrade!

*2015-01-31, version 3.5.1*

New version does not work, crashes constantly. Now to try and downgrade to my pervious working version.

### 1/5 — Completely Broken

*2014-12-31, version 3.5.1*

It worked awesome, was my favorite RDP app... Until Dec 17th's update.

Now:
- keyboards are hard to operate
- I hold my iPad sideways; orientation is always bad when switching/starting app
- Clipboard sharing no longer works
- Zooming is COMPLETELY BROKEN; it used to size quite smartly, allowing even a permanently present top bar
- Speaking of the top bar; It's gone. I need it!
- when zoomed, (that you can't control) moving the cursor to show other parts does not work
- hiding the keyboard no longer recenters the view at all (it was working GREAT before)

A TOTAL MESS. I liked it so much before that I will check for updates, but I am erasing it for now.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2014-12-28, version 3.5.1*

Local network, won't connect to a Raspberry Pi

### 2/5 — Worked for a while

*2014-08-14, version 2.2.0*

This app used to work well with my iPad 2. I used it daily all day long to enter orders on our company's server. Over the last six months the quality changed as it would begin to crash every time I switched to a different app and switched back. It also stopped allowing me to copy text in a different app and paste the text into AccessToGo.
The straw that finally broke the camels back was two days ago when the app began crashing every time I tried to make a connection to the server. Literally I cannot even begin to login anymore....I deleted the app and re-downloaded it in hopes of resolving the issue....it did not, so I am deleting the app and will switch to a larger app like Jump or Microsoft's RDP.

### 4/5 — Access to go

*2014-06-04, version 2.2.0*

Generally works well. Some quirkiness with navigation when logged into remote. Also, can not find a graceful way to close out the app

### 5/5 — info app

*2014-04-20, version 2.2.0*

Very Fast app
very interface and very easy
Thanks...

### 1/5 — iOS 16 landscape mode not working

*2023-08-08, version 9.2.1*

I utilitized this app a lot on my tablet, stopped fully functioning with iOS upgrade . it will not show full screen on landscape mode. Please update/ fix this

### 1/5 — Great App Until IOS 16

*2023-03-10, version 9.2.1*

App broke with iOS 16. It does not adjust to fit screen in landscape mode. Seems like a simple fix but nothing done in the 5 months iOS 16 has been out. We were using this app on 100 iPads. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2018-11-04, version 8.1.2*

Hasn’t been updated for a year

### 1/5 — Crashes in iOS 12

*2018-10-19, version 8.1.2*

Does not appear to be working in iOS 12. Tried on my phone and iPad Air. Hoping they get this working again.

### 1/5 — Not the best

*2018-02-13, version 8.1.2*

App appears to lock up, buttons don’t always respond.

### 1/5 — Slow, buttons don't work!!!

*2017-07-08, version 7.6.101*

This app responds slowly, the buttons are difficult they don't register the touch screen well, The scaling is horrible! It's like looking at an entire computer screen where everything is too tiny to click but zooming in where you want to click causes lag and the app to freeze!

### 1/5 — Keyboard

*2015-12-06, version 7.0.3*

I have not been using it for the last since the latest update. Previously a wonderful app. However most recently with the latest update the dictation microphone from the keyboard no longer works. This is what I depend on to do my work. Would appreciate if this can be tweaked and fixed. The sooner the better thank you

### 1/5 — Unusuable

*2015-09-18, version 7.0.2*

Every time you press a button in the interface, it will take several seconds (and possibly multiple presses) to respond. Worse still, it was incapable of connecting to my RDP server.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2015-05-15, version 7.0.2*

If I tap on an icon or try to change settings the app does not respond. If not fixed soon i am deleting as it's taking space on my phone

### 1/5 — Was good - not anymore!

*2015-04-30, version 7.0.2*

This was the best free RDP client out there. Not anymore!

Now it's so slow it's unusable!

I'm guessing they broke the free side so you'd buy their server product.

Please fix this.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great product

*2017-04-05, version 7.6.101*

A++

### 5/5 — Love this nugget

*2016-04-16, version 7.0.4*

I was with a customer in his building and he accessed our control system with this remotely. I couldn't take my eyes off of his phone and was mesmerized at how fast this was working and the features it had. He was zooming in on the screen and pinpoint mouse clicking...from his phone. I downloaded it and use it all the time. Works great with just an IP address.

### 5/5 — Best app of its kind...

*2015-05-28, version 7.0.2*

I would definitely pay for it... In anyway, it's the best of the best! Thanks to you all!

### 5/5 — Works perfectly

*2015-04-27, version 7.0.2*

Great job, developers. The app works perfectly, and the connection time is really good.

### 5/5 — Good

*2015-02-21, version 3.5.1*

simple konfigurasi, smart application

### 5/5 — Has potential.

*2014-10-07, version 2.2.0*

Now I can log into windows without needing my PC to do it! Unlike other Remote Desktop applications and it has a mouse like capabilities which will make it easier for navigation. This will be great for school, I won't have to log around a big laptop when I take my seated classes.

### 5/5 — Does what it should

*2014-09-06, version 2.2.0*

Good, fast RDP client. Like it.

### 5/5 — IT

*2014-07-27, version 2.2.0*

Great tool.

### 5/5 — A butt-saving app

*2014-05-31, version 2.2.0*

Given the inherent limitations of iphone input options and screen size, this app is fantastic.

### 5/5 — Director of IT

*2014-05-16, version 2.2.0*

Kudos to the people at Ericom. This little piece of software is a gem. It never fails to bail me out when I have to deal with a server emergency while travelling without my laptops. Furthermore it works equally well on the iPad, iPhone, and, dare I mention it here..., the BlackBerry Z10.

You must understand, however, the limitations imposed by attempting to control a Windows environment with a much higher resolution screen and the many nuances of the PC/Wimdows keyboard but this RDP does more than a decent job.

Thank you Ericom for this software.
