Now they appear at the top of the screen which covers up part of the cards that have been moved off. It makes it hard to see what card is on top of each stack which in turn makes it harder to play the game. **Developer response:** This layout problem is fixed in the latest version. If my children are playing in silence in a public place, they end up disrupting the silence. This app is now a don't bother with it. **Developer response:** Thanks for your patience! I tried deleting and redownloading. Didn’t work. I click on the app, it flashes into the game and then shuts down. This is my favorite game. I’m so bummed. Please delete the 2.0 version and install the app from the App Store again – you'll get the last compatible version that works for your iOS device. Played 20,000+ on 4 devices, at the point of deleting ### 1/5 — Latest update a total flop!! *2020-02-18* This has always been my favorite game to play when I’m bored. I absolutely hate it since it was recently updated! I hate it fitting at the bottom of the screen instead of centered in the middle. It is so aggravating I can’t stand to play it. I used to play for hours as a way to relax. Now it causes so much aggravation I can’t tolerate it for more than a few minutes and I quit. Of course, the ads were a pain, but I put up with them, even though they got longer and longer. At first the ads were just on the screen and you could click them and get back to the game. Then they started to be longer and you couldn’t click off of them, which really reduced how much I liked the game, but, again, I put up with it. But just recently, there is a huge ad at the top of the screen that interferes with the play of the game. As a result, I’ll play the other games I enjoy, but will no longer be playing Free Cell, as it is almost unplayable with the huge, no-removable banner. There are a lot of free games available that don’t have this problem and I’m surprised the developer has made such a bad decision. **Developer response:** This should be fixed in the latest version. They used to be at the bottom but the advertisers complained about too many accidental "Clicks" so I had to move the banner to the top. ### 1/5 — Ads covering the game *2020-01-19* I’ve played this frequently but this latest update has ads covering part of the game. Since the update there’s a band across the top of the game where your four aces would come into. There’s a band across the top, for your commercials but it covers the top half of those four squares. Have always played the ads too, many 100s of them. Sadly the latest update now has a permanent ad bar at the top which obscures the aces of the eights game, which I love. Not very good, whoever designed this new feature, surely, must have checked what the end product looked like. If they didn't, well say no more. If they did and think this is acceptable, then they dont deserve any players. Bring back the old version. ### 1/5 — Ads in a paid-for game? *2017-06-24* Absolutely love the Developer's Klondike Solitaire game (when's that promised update coming?) but when I went looking for other games by Sniderware I found this Free Cell game in a bundle. Tried to buy it but because I already had one of the games, it didn't go through. So I *thought* I purchased a standalone version of Free Cell, but it has a number of ads, and calls itself "Free Free Cell". Did I miss a detail somewhere, or did the wrong game download? Or are there really ads in a game I paid for? If this is the case, it's gone. Hoping there was a mistake somewhere... **Developer response:** I'm so sorry about the confusion. I would never put 3rd party ads in my paid games. It sounds like you accidentally played the free version instead of the paid version.
