I'm still unclear on how to do anything that moves the score to something other than "104". Seems, other things being equal, to resolve automatic moves to the left. Please fix it 10-28-18. It is now freezing every 2 or 3 moves. Very frustrating. I have noticed that it starts to repeat itself or go into a loop where the same hands are repeated. I've tried deleting, reboot and downloading, but after a while, it goes into a loop again. And since Lion has killed Eric's Ultimate on the Mac, this is the best Spider in the OSX/iOS universe. But I'm afraid that's not saying much. There are two serious problems with this app. Once is the really weird way that you move a card (or stack) to another column. One way is not so weird, but it's available on all kinds of spider apps, including free ones: you can just drag the card/stack to exactly where you want it. But I don't want to do that. It slows down the game, and I don't play solitaire to increase my risk of repetitve motion injury! Eric's Ultimate offered a decent alternative: You could just click on a card and it would move to the most obvious location. Unfortunately it did not take the next logical step, which is to cycle through all available moves as you click successively on the card. But just being able to click to the most obvious location made the game much easier, smoother, and quicker to play. With this game the closest you get to click-and-move is you can sort of fling a card/stack toward where you want it to go. But this becomes an unwanted game of physical skill withon the game of mental strategy you wanted to play. Flinging the cards feels like throwing an object underwater. It may land on the intended spot, or sail right past it, or fall short. Very annoying -- not what I'm paying for in a solitaire game. The other problem is that it lets you quit a game (and thus lose it) without asking for confirmation that this is what you want to do. If you want to start a game over, there's a real risk of starting a new game instead (and losing the old one) by accident. Here again the game seems to show a kind of devolution from Eric's Ultimate, where this problem was handled in a much better (clearer, more foolproof) way. ### 3/5 — Beautiful but limited *2010-09-16, version 0* Graphics are great, and the app plays well. But after years of playing online solitaire, I am frustrated that there is no way to replay a game. I love Eric’s implementation. The graphics are colorful and detailed. I like the hints. Both the glow and wiggle. The animation is usually smooth. There are occasions when a card will get “stuck” at the peak of the animation. It will freeze on screen at it’s largest size. This started over a year ago and has stayed in every version since. I have to tap somewhere else on the screen for the card to go back to its normal size. This should be fixed. They now know if they touch a game when there is an X jiggling the game disappears. Thanks for inventing this game.
