The only thing I think needs to be tweaked is the hard brake situation. A couple of times I have had to stop more quickly because an animal ran out in front of me and a car has Pulled out. I listen to audio books and sometimes have to use my phone to set up my book. In park in the garage Erie App counts that as “ phone usage” ?! BEWARE !!!! *2025-10-03, version 3.0.0* If you use this app KEEP a close eye on your reward balance. They will cheat you. They have cheated me out $10. !!! ### 1/5 — Unable to *2025-08-02, version 2.2.1* I was very satisfied with this app until I interacted with customer service. I noticed the speed limit was inaccurate on a route we frequently drive. I reported it and it was fixed but affected the scores and reduced my monthly reward. When I contacted help to explain and asked for the full reward since it was an issue with the app and not my driving, I was told that once the amount is paid, there is no going back. I asked for my request to be escalated and instead got a generic, repeated response. Clearly it uses AI or poorly trained customer service. This ruined my perception of this app and incentive. ### 1/5 — Erie YourTurn Bug *2025-05-20, version 2.2.1* There is a bug in the Erie YourTurn app and IOS 18.5. After I updated the iOS to version 18.5, the Erie app puts up an error screen saying location services is not turned on. Then it brings you to the system settings, but there is no option to turn on location services. I have saved up $35 in rewards that I can’t activate or redeem. ### 1/5 — Good Behavior *2025-04-19, version 2.2.1* I love this app! It encourages me to be a safe driver by rewarding me for good behavior behind the wheel. ### 2/5 — Forget using Bluetooth *2022-03-13, version 1.1.0* Here’s the big problem…If using Bluetooth docks your score then some major changes need to be made. For example, using your hands free device in your car will lower your scores and cash rewards. This also means that when you bluetooth your music and change the song, the system believes you’re handling the phone. Please please change this ! ### 2/5 — They should list the scores for rewards *2020-12-09* I haven’t had issues with the app itself. I think it’s a great concept and fun to see how well you can do. However, there is no where that lists what score you need to earn rewards. The first 2 weeks I got the full amount then I after that I got half and none in the last month. It doesn’t make sense bc my score hasn’t gone down. It’s not a good program if they don’t give you goals to reach with specific rewards at each level. Especially when I haven’t earned anything in a month. I would think they would say “if you earn 90% or above you get the full amount If you get between 80-90% you get half . “ ### 2/5 — Rating goes down for no reason *2020-07-29* I have consistently over all of my trips had five stars for the vast majority. Each day the rating seems to drop by a point or two for no reason whatsoever. It’s dropped between days when I had nothing but five star trips. It says it will be able to tell when you were a driver versus a passenger, but it can’t. Even after I remove those trips by informing it that I was a Passenger, it did not adjust my rating at all so it was pointless. Basically whenever you ride with someone else expect your rating to go down, or it will go down for no reason between five star trips. Uninstalling after I collect the rewards I earned. ### 2/5 — Can I get some help, please *2019-04-29* I started driving a few months ago, and my dad is an Erie agent so he thought it would be a good idea to use this tracker, so I could get a few extra bucks, so I’ve had the app for about a month now, and I’m getting confused. So I was talking to my dad asking how am I suppose to get the rewards, and he told me under the score button, there was a rewards feature, so I go on my phone and nothing was there, so I look around and nothing. I reinstalled the app, to see if that would fix what ever is going on, and nope, same screen, so now I’m confused and want to get the reward, if anyone could help me, I’d appreciate it. But this the only thing bad about the app, also it’s not the most accurate speedometer and same thing with the hard braking. ### 3/5 — Enrollment not easy *2025-10-22, version 3.0.0* Hard to enroll ### 3/5 — Okay *2025-09-05, version 3.0.0* This keeps track of your driving. But does it? I have had the app for over a year and been “rewarded” for my driving. However, after several turns of receiving the full $5.00 reward; my score will all of a sudden drop. So I get a reward of $2.50. Then just as suddenly go back up to higher scores. My driving was consistently good for weeks on end then all of a sudden, I’m breaking hard and speeding more (driving the same route with no other changes in environment). Nope! They just don’t want to keep giving the money away. Probably if you would consistently drive at a score rate to earn $2.50 you periodically drop to no reward at all. Amended statement- now they have actually taken away $10 in rewards they already gave me.
