I used to be able to access my points without having to go to a separate login. This is ridiculous! Please reconsider how this affects those of us who are busy. I usually call the local deli to place my order because I ordered for a dozen people at a time. Now it’s difficult to access my points and offers. ### 1/5 — App update took away most useful feature *2025-11-07, version 4.0* Can no longer scan the barcode on the receipt to get loyalty points. Instead have to go to my computer and type it in. You used to be able to see your account and rewards and scam barcodes. The old app was perfectly fine! Now you're being told to go to a separate website to access your rewards, which then doesn't work with safari and wants you to turn off tracking protection! The app directs you to the website. So I log into the website from an iPhone, which is somewhat of an ordeal because it doesn’t remember user id and password and gives warnings about using Safari, blaming Apple. Then the website is clearly messed up. No points, no way to add them, wasting my time. C’mon team, get it together. Other apps work beautifully in Apple’s ecosystem. Ordering might be better using the new V4 app, but points management is terrible. ### 1/5 — Update is junk *2025-10-22, version 4.0* Since update can no longer login to my account so months long history is no longer there. The inconvenience of needing to sign in-to an app every single time isn’t specific to this food app, newer food establishments also cut corners when developing the UI for its app. Saving login credentials isn’t that complex, please consider adding this feature, as most professional apps at least ask you if you’d like to save your login credentials for next time. ### 4/5 — Unable to open app. Unable accumulate *2025-05-17, version 2.16.0* Please fix. ### 2/5 — Inconsistent *2024-10-31, version 2.16.0* Ordering experience is very inconstant. What do you think I’m ordering on?? Come ON you guys! ### 1/5 — Something went wrong! *2024-04-23, version 2.16.0* For the past couple months every time I open the app I get the same error Something went wrong An unknown error occurred I tried deleting and reinstalling it but the same message appears, before I can even log in, so it’s not my account. I have purchases I can’t record and expiring offers I can’t redeem. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The new app is terrible *2026-03-06, version 4.0* I frequent Erik’s often and always used the app. The old app was so great and easy to use. This new app feels like going backwards. It’s not as good of a user experience and not enjoyable to use at all. ### 1/5 — Horrible Update and Changes *2026-02-26, version 4.0* Seriously, this might be the dumbest and worst app change in the history of app changes. Like did you all come together and decide how to make the app ugly, unusable, and just all around horrible? It sucks because the app should not reflect the business. My coworkers and I love the deli near us, and this review does NOT reflect the restaurant. But to the developer team for this app, I sincerely have no clue how you guys took a decent app and completely performed THE WORST app change ever. For those of you that don’t believe these 1 star reviews, I’ll be impressed if you can make it past the multiple login screens to even attempt to see your rewards, if they even load. This app update looks like it was made as a high school project that was done the night before the deadline. Still unsure of the current app? This is my first ever app review because I’m literally dumbfounded how anyone thought this was a good idea! So just let that sink in for how bad this update was! ### 1/5 — Bad Changes to app, unusable now *2026-01-16, version 4.0* The latest update is awful. You can’t find any of your reward info anymore, it makes you click through a ton of different menus and is generally just completely unfriendly. I hope the devs see this and change the app. Remember devs; KISS exists for a reason. Keep it simple!! ### 1/5 — Points and rewards *2025-11-23, version 4.0* We shouldn’t have to log into the web site to view points, rewards of “type” in bar codes to collect points. Points, rewards, and the old scanner for the receipt bar code should be available on the app. Once logged into app you should stay logged in until you opt to log out. I haven’t yet tried to order on the new app as I generally find ordering like that cumbersome. However I will try ordering and review the ordering process separately. ### 1/5 — Stop eating at Eric’s *2025-11-22, version 4.0* Since Eric’s implemented this “new and updated app” my friends and I have decided to stop eating at Eric’s! The steps don’t work that they recommend for iPhone even using chrome and changing my settings.
