It works great.. except there’s been not one update in over a year. Singing is one of the hardest things to improve at because getting accurate and immediate feedback is difficult, and this app solves that issue! As a visual learner being able to see my voice’s pitch is so helpful. My one suggestion is that there be a way to reset your high scores on an exercise or that they should be done based on percentages rather than total score. If you ever overestimate your range and then correct it and try to beat your score it can be impossible even though you are improving at the exercise. Also I love the graphic displaying progress, it’s great. Would also love to see more graphics displaying progress. Maybe the option to filter it by exercise or difficulty level. Overall a great app though. Doing each lesson only once a day will make results take longer, but you also shouldn’t spend an hour on the same one. It would be great if there was slow training to get used to being on pitch with the piano. No option to slow down the exercises. It assumes that you already have the skill to know you’re on pitch. Cheers to Erik! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Clumbsy interface *2026-05-01, version 5.3* If I haven’t seen an exercise the first time, then just show me the directions, rather than hitting the I button. If I didn’t make a sound, then why advance me to the next step. It is obvious that I goofed, and should restart that screen. I recorded what my mic caught, and the app showed a hell of a lot more noise than I could duplicate on my studio recording of me doing the exercise. I’m glad I didn’t pay for this. I wold have been fuming even if it was only $1.99. ### 1/5 — ONLY GAVE IT 5 STARS SO YOU SEE THIS *2025-07-12, version 5.4* I was going to say that I really do suggest the app but then it told me to pay for a subscription after I got to the 2nd pair of lessons. I really do suggest the app if you’re willing to pay up, but for for people (like me) who isn’t allowed to/won’t pay apps for subscriptions I suggest you find another app for free because if you want to pay you can hire a music teacher who will teach you better. As far as I can tell, it hasn’t heard a sound from me, and isn’t aware of it. I’m 32% through the first session and have gotten zero feedback. It’s the only voice app I’ve tried so far, so I will try others. ### 1/5 — Microphone doesn’t work. Even headphones *2025-01-06, version 5.2* So just so you know I’m well aware that I’m not the best singer hence why I downloaded this app, I hooked up a microphone for this which I’ve used for videos and other record and it works clear and fluent. Mind you I download this app last year too and it did the same thing, when I do a lesson it doesn’t pick up my voice it’ll cut off mid lesson and I can’t get past lesson one. I’ve tried being louder, more quiet I’ve even tried exaggerating voice high and low to see if it still cuts off and it does. Completely cuts off at moments like the apps doesn’t want to access to function properly.
