## What is Errand List?

Stop asking "What did we need from the store again?"

Errand List is a real-time shared shopping list for couples, families and roommates. Add an item on your phone and it shows up instantly on everyone else's. No more "did you grab the milk?" texts, and no more buying the same thing twice. Sign in with Apple or Google, send a 6-digit code to the people you want to share with, and you're set.

Real-time sharing
- Items added or checked off appear on everyone's screen within seconds
- Works offline too. Everything syncs the moment you reconnect

Share one tab at a time with an invite code
- Generate a 6-digit code for the tab you want to share, and send it in any messaging app
- The other person just enters the code to join that tab
- Codes expire after 24 hours

Tabs to keep things sorted
- Split by store or purpose: Groceries, Drugstore, Online, and so on. Each tab can have its own icon and color

"Could you pick this up?" and an automatic "Got it!"
- Tap the button next to an item to send a push notification to whoever is out
- When the item is checked off, everyone is told automatically, so nothing gets bought twice
- Notifications can be turned on or off per tab, per section and per item, and you can write your own wording (private tabs never notify)

Section headings
- Group items inside a tab under headings like Fridge, Vegetables, or Household

Reminders, repeats and auto-revive
- Set a date and time for any item, and repeat it daily, weekly, monthly or yearly
- Completed items come back on their own at the timing you choose (a weekday, N days later, or a set number of days before a due date)
- Pick the timing by spinning a wheel. No more rebuilding the same weekly list

Notes, photos and quantity
- Add a free note such as "in the freezer aisle" or "buy 2 if it's on sale"
- Attach a photo of the package, the shelf, or a handwritten note
- Set a quantity from 1 to 99 so nobody comes back with too many

Templates
- Save what you always buy, then add it to today's list with one tap

Drag to reorder
- Long-press and drag, so items follow the order you walk the aisles

Sign in with Apple or Google
- No app-specific password to remember

- Both follow your device settings automatically

[How people use it]

A working couple
One partner adds the dinner ingredients in the morning. The other stops by a store on the way home and checks them off. The first partner's phone shows "done". No texting needed.

Roommates
Whoever notices the toilet paper running low adds it. Whoever does the weekend run checks it off, and the automatic "Got it!" stops anyone buying it twice.

[Privacy]

- Sign-in is handled by Apple and Google. We never store a password of our own, and Sign in with Apple can hide your email behind Private Relay.
- Nobody outside your shared group can see your list. There are no ad or behavioral tracking SDKs in this app.
- Alarms are scheduled on your own device. Your reminder schedule is never sent to a server.
