## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2014-12-10*

The original welding app, does not work after software update. Also more welding parameters need for Subarc and Aluminum.

### 1/5 — Not much info

*2013-05-08*

No thin sheet metal info.

### 2/5 — Expected more from ESAB

*2018-01-19*

This is terrible. It’s pretty much useless. I expected that this would have a wide range of settings, but it has almost nothing. I recently bought an ESAB EMP 215 welder, and I was hoping for more info on their fillers from this, as they offer a very wide range.

Having settings for them would have been pretty good. But they just cover two or three in each area, and they don’t cover all the areas.

As it is, the app doesn’t do anything worthwhile. I’m even rating it above the one star it’s worth, because at least they made the app. If they fix it, I will review it again, and hopefully be able to give it a good rating.

### 2/5 — Limitée

*2017-10-02, version 1.1*

Déception après avoir vu seulement 2 matériaux, pas de SMAW, pas de TIG, peu de fils...
Application incomplète.

### 2/5 — Get any other weld app

*2014-06-10*

This app is weak. Virtually worthless. 2 stars for kinda working a little. For what little it does, it doesn't even do it well.

### 2/5 — A start

*2011-01-01*

This ap is a good start but I agree with other reviewers that it needs a lot more info and options to be very useful. Please keep working on it.

### 3/5 — Fabricator/ welder

*2014-10-11*

I love this app for mig welding, but now it doesn't work with IOS 8.0.2. What gives? More content would be good for smaller wire and out of position welding.

### 3/5 — Aluminum

*2011-04-27*

Aluminum settings would be a great update!

### 3/5 — Good app!!

*2011-04-22*

I agree with other reviewers that this is a good start. I think it needs more tho!!! Keep up the good work, and, let's see some great upgrades!!!

### 3/5 — Good start to a great app

*2010-11-06*

I think the app is good but lacking content. There are other common processes besides FCAW and GMAW. Having the parameters broken down by position with deposition rate would be a great help.

The information contained in the esab handbook would be great.

But well done anyway for the 1st welding related app for the iPhone.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good but limited

*2011-05-04, version 1.0*

App is definitely a good idea. But it only has 2 diameters for solid wire. And only steel and stainless material. If only Lincoln electric had one.

### 5/5 — 5/5

*2010-12-03, version 0*

I really enjoy this application I work at the bombardier Inc plant in thunder bay and I usually refer to this app then the work parameters thanks for such a great app!

### 4/5 — Helpful but...

*2015-06-10*

New to welding and this helps. But why no data for 0.030 wire?

### 4/5 — Quick and easy.

*2011-10-14, version 1.0*

Nice, simple app to use, and hasn't crashed once through 4 updates on my iPhone 3Gs.
I'd be wary of the super-fast WFS for Flux-Core...don't want to make a piece of rope! Maybe the app I have is faulty?

### 4/5 — Update

*2011-03-08*

Good start but would like to see an update with more processes

### 4/5 — Welder

*2011-01-08*

This is great! Very easy to use. I too would like to see it more robust or have different apps to help with other challenges we face! Mice to have help right in my pocket!

### 4/5 — Good

*2010-11-02*

Good app.
