## What is Esas?

You wake up. The day is already planned.

Esas is a routine planner with an engine that plans. It builds Today from your own routines — weighing what is urgent, what your energy suits right now, and what your week still owes — into one finite plan you can actually follow.

A DAY THAT BUILDS ITSELF
Most planning tools hand you a blank page every morning and ask you to keep choosing: what matters, what fits, what next. Esas moves that weight out of the moment. You configure your routines once — what they are, how often, how demanding — and the engine assembles the day the moment you open Esas.

It plans against what your week still owes, so a week that has fallen behind stops producing thin days. When a routine is already covered, its freed slot is backfilled from the week ahead. And the plan explains itself: short reasons say why a task landed here, today — so the day is something you can argue with, not a black box.

Today stays intentionally finite. Up to seven slots, and the planner leaves room for what you add yourself. Enough to move. Not so much that the day collapses under its own ambition.

PLAN BY ENERGY, NOT JUST TIME
Your wake time anchors the day. Esas does not treat every hour as equal, because you do not live that way.

• High energy — start the hard thing.
• Creative flow — move through steady work.
• Recovery — shrink the list and land the day on purpose.

The plan follows your awake rhythm, not a fixed idea of what 8:30 AM should mean. And it reads the calendar the way you do: weekends come out shaped differently than workdays.

ROUTINES THAT BEND, NOT BREAK
Routines are the structure underneath the day.

Set the things that should return daily, weekly, or monthly. Esas brings them back when they belong, without turning your week into a pile of overdue shame. And when a routine can no longer reach its weekly count, Weekly Progress says so while there is still week left to act on it.

When life changes, the plan can soften. Travel, low-energy days, busy weeks, interruptions — the system is meant to bend without losing the thread.

THE NEXT RIGHT THING
When choice gets heavy, Smart Roll gives you one possible next move.

It considers your current phase and the time you actually have, then suggests a task that fits the moment. Less staring at the list. More starting.

A SMALLER, CALMER LOOP
• Today — one finite plan, already built.
• Routines — repeatable patterns that quietly return.
• Smart Roll — a way through decision fatigue.
• Bio-Phases — plan around hours since waking.
• Vacation Mode — scale the day down without breaking rhythm.
• Tags & Patterns — see where your attention actually goes.

WHAT YOU REPEAT, YOU BECOME
Esas is not built around perfect days. It is built around returning.

Streaks, levels, weekly patterns, and drift signals help you see what is holding, what is slipping, and what needs to change. Not as judgment. As feedback.

The point is not to do more. The point is to make the right things easier to repeat.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Esas is local-first and works offline. Your planning system is designed to live on your device first, not depend on a server to make your day usable.

ESAS PRO
Esas Pro turns completed days into a longer view: patterns across your weeks, routines that hold or slip, connections across tags and routines, and 12-week, 6-month, and 1-year views as your history grows. The planner is complete without it; Pro reads further into what you have already built.

Esas Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or annually. The annual plan starts with a free trial when eligible. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.1.0 — 2026-08-27

This release is about honest history and a calmer day.

• Log a past day after the fact: pick one of your active routines for any of the last three days. Retro entries appear marked as logged later, carry no XP or streak credit, and a tap adjusts how long it actually took.
• Insights adds a three-channel Load Signature across your last 12 closed weeks, with markers where the planner saw danger.
• Monday opens with a one-time invitation to review last week — completion volume and concrete proof from the closed week.
• Today greets you by name, once per day, when you actually arrive.
• Esas now says when a week is overcommitted, while there is still week left to adjust.
• A date-range vacation past its end date now ends itself and welcomes you back.
• Keystone insights take feedback, including a reversible Hide.
• Insights forms on evidence density instead of elapsed time, Life Balance is redrawn as a donut, and Tag Pairings reads from the days two tags actually share.
• Upgrading from Insights now returns you to Insights, presentation clocks pause while the app is backgrounded, and offline cold starts open your local data right away.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-11

Planning every day is now simply part of Esas — no trial countdown, no wall.

• Today, Routines, Smart Roll, energy-aware planning, and Weekly and Monthly Progress are included for everyone.
• Esas Pro is now purely the longer view: patterns across weeks, routines that hold or slip, connections across tags and routines, and longer history views.
• The Pro screen explains that longer view without re-selling the daily loop.
• Weekly scheduling shares capacity more fairly across the whole visible window, and Today now fills against what your week still owes — a week that has fallen behind stops producing thin days.
• Weekly Progress names a routine that can no longer reach its weekly count, while there is still a week left to act on it.
• Levelling up arrives as a full ceremony, and Insights now explains every reading that is not ready yet instead of showing nothing.

Your existing routines and history stay in place.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-01

Energy Rhythm is now a full page. Each phase states its window in plain time next to its own illustration, the current moment is called out, and you can set both wake and bedtime right where those windows come from.

Routines can graduate to a bigger challenge when your track record shows you're ready — with a clearer Challenge Boost panel that says one thing at a time and always confirms before it releases a slot.

Coming back after a break? You'll see one honest note grounded in your own history — where you left off, not a guilt trip.

Also in this update:
• Set in Stone now arrives as a single daily invitation you can dismiss for the day.
• A purchase interrupted by sign-in picks up where it left off instead of being dropped.
• The plan screen leads with the price you'll actually pay.
• XP totals stay exact up to 10,000, so every completion visibly counts.
• Clearer sorting in the Routines gallery: frequency, recency, and duration all say what they mean.
• Vacation Mode and Progress polish, plus fixes for smoother syncing after updates.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-17

Progress grew up — and your charts went native.

• Week Shape and Month Shape: one unified view of how your days add up.
• Every Progress chart rebuilt on native Swift Charts — smoother and sharper.
• Day Shelf: a snapshot of each day, captured the moment it opened.
• Tomorrow's preview now ranks like Today, with next-day routine pairings.
• A gentle nudge the moment a new Insight finishes forming.
• Sign up with just your email — a one-time code, no password needed.
• Retuned XP pacing, steadier Today ordering, and plenty of polish.

Shape your day. Scale your life.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-06

A smoother first day and a calmer path to your routine.

• Your Today screen now comes to life from day one — no empty start.
• A gentler onboarding, plus a welcome gift to get you moving.
• The Weekly view now scales beautifully in your first week.
• Cleaner weekday scheduling when you adjust routines.
• A friendlier, more personal welcome to Esas Pro.
• Faster, steadier launches and behind-the-scenes reliability fixes.

Shape your day. Scale your life.
