ESB integrates e-bike, mobile and cloud computing technologies into a complete new e-bike experience. Check in the instruction manuals or with your e-bike retailer if your e-bike embeds the ESB Technology. Once launched and connected to the vehicle, ESB.app will automatically recognizes the electronics version on board if available, enabling the supported Diagnostic features and Geo-location data from your e-bike. The electronics versions are: - *ESB.CORE* allows to connect your e-bike online via the smartphone Bluetooth connection. - *ESB.PLUS* thanks to the GPS/GPRS module the e-bike transmits data to the cloud whether or not connected to a smartphone, enabling additional features. *ESB.CORE* includes the following features: - Battery data check in real time. Those pieces of data are state of charge, battery state of health, voltage, number of cycles, last charge and accurate autonomy with current charge. - Advice for a correct usage of the bike and reminders about the state of the warranty. - Real time direct communication with your e-bike customer care service using a simple direct message. The e-bike owner is able to control and activate the alarm from ESB.app and to receive warning signals on the smartphone each time the e-bike is displaced from its original location, thanks to the embedded sensors. A part from the features listed above, ESB.app provides also: - An ergonomic and easily readable cockpit that exhibits advanced information in driving mode to monitor speed, riding time and covered distance. - The possibility to record trips and view them on a map. - Turn-by-Turn navigation system that allows the e-bike owner to easily set trip destinations by following the suggested routes planned for bikes. It is possible to choose among the fastest, shortest or quietest itinerary and follow the instructions displayed on the screen and/or reproduced by a Text-to-Speech application. My bike, Boomerang Plus, is on the list but when searching it won’t find it. It finds my husbands bike without any issues. So frustrating! If it worked it would be a nice addition to our awesome bikes. ### 1/5 — BROKEN !!! *2020-07-01, version 3.7.6* Still broken as of last update and no one responds for help. App will still not save route. This app worked better 2 months ago. Here is a good idea, let’s take this sketchy app and make it worse. The last few updates have made this app difficult to use AND the route paths are no longer saved. An excellent example of inept programmers and their ideas. ### 1/5 — Won’t work *2020-06-11, version 3.7.5* Total bummer. It won’t connect to my WiFi or cellular. Steve29575 ### 1/5 — This is a terrible application *2020-06-07, version 3.7.4* This is one of the most unreliable, quirky applications I have ever used. Unfortunately it seems to be the only way I can access Bluetooth features on my very nice but pricey ebike. For example, even though I have set my defaults to English measurements it insists in reporting most ( but not all) of my ride history in metric - but with most information “unavailable”. I frequently lose my connection during rides and have to restart the app. Most recently as of this last app update it seems to have lost my account registration information, forcing me to re-register. After doing so it will no longer connect to my ebike. The message I receive states “An error occurred. The registration cannot be carried out at this moment. We will solve the error as soon as possible. Please try again later.” “Later” has come and gone. It still doesn’t work. Is anybody back at Sitael S.pA. Even paying attention to what they are coding? Please make this a first world app so it is useable. ### 1/5 — You broke it. *2020-06-06, version 3.7.4* App is broken with last update. Please fix. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work at All *2020-06-05, version 3.7.4* Version update apparently killed the app. Failed yo recognize my old logon. Re-registered but now errors out trying to connect. ### 1/5 — Constant Crashing - Useless app *2019-09-03, version 3.7.2* This app will crash constantly, in fact right after I got it set up it started. It is totally impossible for me to use the mapping system as it crashes every single time. For what it’s worth it will tell me my battery strength tho. ### 5/5 — Extra Special Bike app *2019-08-27, version 3.7.2* Just found out about this app while on Pedego’s website. Haven’t used the app on any trips yet but so far easy registration—BT found my ebike first try! Would love to be able to add a photo of ny bike and name it. Maybe in an updated version? As we Pedego’ers say, “hello, fun!” Looking forward to getting more out of my rides with this app. ### 1/5 — Made an Error *2019-06-27, version 3.6.4* I made an error on registration on my serial number and the app will not allow me to correct it! So frustrating tried to erase the bike and start over and it would not allow that either. Help! ### 1/5 — doesn’t work *2018-10-22, version 3.6.3* should work with Pedego Conveyor, but it doesn’t. Bike is connected via bluetooth and identified, but the dashboard is blank - no speed, no route, no anti-thieft function. **Developer response:** Hi Temka, Thanks for your feedback.
