Impossible for me to do my job. Currently running IOS 18 and I literally have to uninstall the app every day to get it to work for the day. In all fairness, it runs better on IPhone, versus Android, the programmers, for this app should be ashamed of them self’s. The ONLY reason I use this app, is my employer pays me to put up with this garbage. ### 1/5 — Dispatch Notifications Update *2023-01-12* I wrote a review a year ago stating that I was no longer getting notifications of new dispatches. Turns out they don’t support Apple anymore. There are a few techs who still use Androids though. They get their notifications like always. I downloaded this on my personal phone just to write a review because I can’t even begin to explain how many times I have ran behind in my day strictly due to my jobs not being able to complete after recording all of my data. Even worse, sometimes after finally letting me back out and see my next job it will erase all of my data that I recorded. Luckily my company is moving to a different app. I cannot stress this enough, if you care about your employees do not use this app for invoicing. If I could give it a 0 star review, I would. ### 1/5 — avoid *2019-09-09, version 15.2.3* Majority of uploads fail. Screen glitches, can only read one line of dispatch. Repeatedly receive socket connection errors,request times out. Our IT staff received the same responses from ESC technical support on how to fix, issue has been going on for over a month now. ### 1/5 — Terribly slow *2019-08-14, version 15.2.3* We have 20+ users on this service. Trying to implement mobile time sheets, but it takes 5 minutes for the app to load and change the working status. We have upgraded our server in the office, and had no luck getting any faster speeds. We have called ESC many times in the last few months, and no one can give us an answer to fix our problem. ### 1/5 — Field tech here *2019-02-20* App is too slow, sometimes takes over 5 mins to load. Too basic. Also feels like I’m using my great grandfathers computer from 1990 not my smart phone. Can’t put my time sheet on it. Can’t complete lift inspections, leak loss reports or any other documents on it. OR they don’t give enough info for my boss to be able to know what he’s doing so he can put that stuff on there. Honestly nobody knows much about this app at my company who implores at least 40 people and I’m trying to help find another app that is better. ### 1/5 — Zoomed Text and Missing Dispatches *2019-02-04, version 15.2.1* Since last update app now is stuck in zoom text. Last 2 dispatches are cut in half and have to change dispatch time to move them up the list. Kept getting errors and now I’m not even able to log into the app. We have several techs working off this app. As of today, we’ve had to resort to paper invoices and calling the office for our assignments. Currently the only way to get this working is to uninstall and reinstall… don’t close it!!!! Well y’all after a moment or two of messing around I found a partial fix till the devs actually do something. At the top of your screen you see that drop down menu? On my app it says dispatches then I can access customers and time sheets. If you open the app and tap this, then clear the menu by tapping a blank spot on the screen. Now select your job or dispatch you need to access. This has worked on other devices with different software versions, with out needing to uninstall and I don’t have to worry about closing the app now. Still a pain in the rump but better than nothing. Still not fixed, December to March 2024-2025 ### 1/5 — Needs to be reinstalled daily *2025-03-04, version 15.3.5* Have to uninstall and reinstall app at least daily, sometimes three times a day to be able to open my dispatches. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2025-01-22, version 15.3.5* After the iOS update I have to delete and reinstall the app everyday to get it to work. However I wish my company would re-visit the idea of a different app this app is unfortunately really bad. Several issues regarding reliability as well the functionality is just not up to par with its competitors. Junk ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best I’ve used *2024-07-13, version 15.3.5* What I like about this app is that everything is integrated and can be done from the same platform inventory invoicing, and payments whereas other platforms I had to use multiple different apps switching back-and-forth. I’m sure there is probably better but compared to the four. I’ve used this one was hands-down, the best. Tech notes are easy to store and revisit so that I know what has been done previously by other tech.. ### 3/5 — It’s not working with new IOS *2025-01-16, version 15.3.5* Do not update your IOS as this app won’t work. Very big improvement. the one thing I don't like, is that it is sometimes hard to read between separate items. Needs more distinction. I use the app on my phone when I am on a job and away from my truck, and I use it on the iPad for logging in my notes and creating invoices etc. The conveniency of using the ESC tech mobile app is gone now after I updated my iPhone last week. I am on software 18.2.1 now.
