### 5/5 — Just incredible.

*2022-11-28, version 1.17.0*

I love puzzle games and love to be challenged.

This is just intense but relaxing. The synth music in the backgrounds is entrancing. Game controls are faultless -!: puzzles really challenging.

Amazing developer. Look forward to more!

### 5/5 — Master of the genre

*2022-10-29, version 1.17.0*

There are great escape series out there - rusty lake, forgotten hill, the GB finger series all score very high. But Alex Corda is perhaps the best. The game is rich in puzzles, it’s very difficult without ever being unfair, and with lots of time and revisits you can solve them without hints. The atmosphere he creates is dreamy and unsettling with great imagination and attention to detail. Extremely satisfying and I can’t wait for the next instalment…something 171?!

### 4/5 — Very good, but needs work

*2022-09-30*

Great graphics, story and puzzles. However, morse code from second balloon doesn’t match answer. Difficult to figure out where/what to do next after solving some puzzles. Love the built in clues and skips (not doing 5 trial/error in a row) though!

### 5/5 — Clever, Challenging and Fun

*2022-08-05*

We were impressed by the cleverness of this game. A few moments of feeling unsure what to do next, but overall fun and lots of challenging puzzles. (Wasn’t personally a fan of of the puzzle with adding and subtracting boxes, but just a personal preference.) Definitely worth the download.

### 5/5 — Hidden gem

*2022-08-03, version 1.17.0*

Great puzzles, really enjoyed this

### 5/5 — Stellar

*2022-07-25*

I have already played the game. There is no “hints for a review” bribe or anything; there is no lingering frustration that brings me back to complain. I am taking unnecessary time out of my evening to share some silly review just because this game IS THAT GOOD.
I’m serious. I was even skeptical at first cuz i thought i caught a whiff of Rusty Lake Wannabeism. But this dev does not need to imitate anyone. The art is cool, the premise is vague but intriguing, the whole thing just flows very cleanly. Nothing glitchy. Great variation of puzzles. Simple, reliable hint system. Honestly i cannot say enough: how rare & wonderful is it when a game just makes sense? There is nothing superfluous or random.. so satisfying!!
Dev clearly put a ridiculous amount of time & thought into this project. Yes, there are some ‘simple’ or familiar concepts, ie similar to Tetris, stacking like-colors, connect the dots, etc. But there is also something of a tapestry of interconnected, multi-phased challenges.. The code breaking alone would have stumped me if i didn’t keep a separate notebook handy!
I was just so very impressed by this game. Unbelievable that it’s also FREE! I could rave on & on, but quite simply it is STELLAR. It really IS that good.

### 5/5 — Challenging but great

*2022-07-13, version 1.17.0*

This is genuinely with the money. The puzzles are hard and there’s a lot of them but it’s still enjoyable and it’s a long game. I enjoyed the premise and art and would gladly play other games by this dev.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2022-06-26, version 1.17.0*

An excellent, well thought out puzzle game with really interesting challenging, but not impossible, puzzles.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2022-06-26, version 1.17.0*

One of the best ever games
Another one is shelter 57 made by . They are not easy
The same company .very like glitch games
And they are FREE . I cannot commend them
Enough hope they make more
They also have books on Amazon
A very well done

### 5/5 — Fabulous games

*2022-06-16, version 1.17.0*

I’ve written longer, detailed reviews for both games by this developer, but they keep disappearing.

Both games are absolutely brilliant. Somewhat challenging but logical. Long length and a little on the creepy side...which isn’t my thing, but it’s not nearly as gory as some other games (such as the violent & bloody “Cube” games...gross).

If you take notes, look everywhere and notice details, completing the game is quite rewarding. Imo, this developer is quite intelligent create such brilliant puzzles.

thx!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Hint system

*2024-09-08*

The hint system in every one of your games, is abysmal. They shouldn’t count as hints, they only tell you things that you already know. I hate using hints, and I’m very frustrated when I have to use them. It pisses me off when the hints are as pointless as they possibly can be.

### 1/5 — One star purely because you’re copying cube escape games

*2024-06-11, version 1.17.0*

Immediately it looks like you’ve copied them

### 1/5 — Genius…?

*2023-09-14*

This is one of the most ridiculously nonsensical games I have ever played. It doesn’t make any sense at all and the puzzles are way too confusing.
But it could also be interpreted that the developer is so creative that he was able to make a game that is so unfathomable, that it’s actually pretty genius…
??????????????

### 1/5 — Morninglory

*2022-06-05*

Game started out fun but then got very confusing. No help is available after your use your hints and there is no walkthrough to watch. Had to delete this game.

### 3/5 — No clue

*2024-02-17*

I get irked when there’s a puzzle and I don’t know what the point of it is, so I just deleted the game. A simple explanation of what is supposed to be accomplished would be helpful. Pet peeves…

### 4/5 — Flashing lights..

*2026-02-06, version 1.17.0*

There are puzzles..all the good ones..;draw line from one red square to the other. Filling paints..drawing..etc.
Clues and skips are available. Also a map..

*Be warned, there are flashing lights.. There is a lighthouse..though I don’t know why they would use it during gameplay. It’s easy enough to place light straight ahead towards ocean. It’s as though dev discovered a plugin..I skipped puzzles where it appeared.

Other than that, I would pay to play another of their games..

Dev: URL on homepage only brings you to google play.

👍

### 4/5 — Good puzzle solving game

*2024-08-13*

One of the more enjoyable puzzle solving games out there. The puzzles were sufficiently challenging for the most part. Several that I needed hints for. One was just simply playing Tetris, which I found to be a little cheesy. Better than most of the independent puzzlers, but not on the same caliber as Rusty Lake, Forgotten Hill, or DaVinci. Still worth playing though!

### 4/5 — Fun and challenging

*2024-07-20*

It was sometimes hard to see the relation between the clues and the puzzles. That may partly be because the game is not linear. There are a few minor bugs: sometimes exiting an area acts like you tapped twice, and some controls don’t take the taps well. But overall, it was enjoyable and kept me entertained for hours.

### 4/5 — Nice puzzles, glitchy gameplay

*2022-12-10, version 1.17.0*

Seemed great but enjoyment of the game was increasingly hindered by unreliable controls in many of the minigames.

### 4/5 — imperfect but enjoyable

*2022-11-07*

fun game, clever puzzles, interesting art design, and you rarely “clear” an area completely, which i love because it makes the puzzles and world feel more interconnected and less linear. that said, there are some glitchy elements that keep this review from getting five stars: some of the black screens between areas last a weirdly long time, which can be extra annoying when you have to jump between multiple locations; occasionally, pressing the back arrow moves you two or three times, which means more long black screens to get back to where you left off. i had a hard time with some of the “arcade-style” puzzles (thinking specifically of the one where you have to time your taps to the yellow lights – no matter what i did, i couldn’t get the fourth one, and i actually started to think i misunderstood the puzzle), but the skip option is easily accessible, which was nice. for most of the puzzles, if you’re struggling, playing around to see how the pieces might move and what you can interact with is a big help, and i liked that the game doesn’t hold the player’s hand

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Worth playing

*2025-07-27, version 1.17.0*

Very good looking difficult game, the puzzles have no instructions so sometimes you just have to spam the puzzle to get the gist.

The hints section is terrible, watch 3 ads and the clue will say “you have to find something” or “you must complete a puzzle somewhere first”.

BUT, overall it took a couple of days and I very much enjoyed it and look forward to the next one.
(Not the devs fault, but I could do without the adverts encouraging me to tie up underage looking girls…with is that all about!!).

PS there is an issue when backing out of puzzles and it double-backs-out so you end up in the scene before the one you were doing the puzzle in. Mildly annoying.

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-06-13, version 1.17.0*

Excellent game. Some very hard puzzles. Lots of fun

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-06-01, version 1.17.0*

Great game all round, very rusty lake feel to it, well designed, challenging but fun! Not a lover of the hint system but that’s more personal preference not a game flaw! Downloading other games by this creator next!

### 5/5 — Sophisticated difficult (in a good way) puzzle escape game.

*2024-04-18, version 1.17.0*

Love this game and the other by this developer - shelter.57. Unhinged storyline and puzzles are actually challenging and not just more of the same. No ads either. Please make more!

### 5/5 — Merci

*2024-03-24, version 1.17.0*

Un jeu incroyable avec des casse-têtes très difficiles. Je suis adepte des jeux d’aventure Escape et j’ai passé des heures à résoudre celui-ci.

Merci à M. Corda et à son équipe !

### 5/5 — Great game

*2023-09-25*

Puzzle difficulty was right in the sweet spot of solvable but not easy or too frustrating

### 5/5 — Escape

*2023-02-20, version 1.17.0*

Very well a done game and I am thankful for the camera system which is a good thing since I don't have to walk back and forth.

### 5/5 — Totally Rocked!

*2023-02-11*

I dislike a bad review because someone didn’t understand how to play. This game was very immersive which was exactly how I like them. If one put the pieces together it wasn’t necessary to use the hint system at all. And what a glorious challenge! Such satisfaction in reaching the solutions as they were evident but not obvious! Great job!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2023-01-20*

This game was so much fun. Interesting, challenging but not impossible. Can’t wait for more from this developer!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2022-12-31, version 1.17.0*

Really great game, so pleased I found this gem, some original puzzles and I love the feel/vibe of the game too, quirky and mysterious. I only wish there were more games as great as this on the App Store that would be fantastic. I hope Alex continues making this type of game, perhaps they should be paid for as too good for a free game. I will choose to remove ads as I hope this supports talented developers.
