Spent 45 minutes trying to start Jumanji: The Drumming Closet. App, in US English. The game and decoder were not available, and the app sent me to the website where there was music for the game, but no decoder. Finally, after nearly 40 minutes of searching the app and website, I decided to try UK English, and found a much bigger list of games, including The Drumming Closet. I’d rate the app higher, but the inconsistencies between languages make the app very frustrating to use.

Had great fun playing this family game we got as a holiday present, finished the first installment with just a minute to spare, and now we’re getting ready to play the next one. The app adds fun ambiance. I recommend!

Just downloaded the app, like other reviewers, I couldn’t hear any music. But I then figured out, that while my volume was up, my ringer was on silent. Once I turned my ringer on, I could hear the music...will update after we play...

There is a mistake in the third stage of the Asylum room. The first key is incorrect, it should be a square and not a triangle. Please review this, the walkthrough even says the sedative was C4N4N2O3, but it points to the wrong jar. Please correct this!

Other than that, awesome game(s)!

Had this game for about a year and finally opened it during covid 19. Has a great time with wife, 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son!  Solved first puzzle abs already starting puzzle 2

I bought the “Escape Room the game: 2 Players - Prison Island” as a Christmas gift for my husband and me to play. I downloaded this app so we could play, and “Prison Island” was unable to be selected. Without the game’s decoder, we could not play. The game was a waste of money since we couldn’t play, and the app was useless. Do not buy, do not play, do not recommend.

We tried two different iphones to get the background music to play om several games but no luck- we would get the “Play” button to show and press it and it would change to the Square STOP button, but no sound- vol was up and was not broadcasting to bluetooth device or on phone speaket

We got the asylum game but when we downloaded the app, the asylum link was shaded and we could not click on it. Basically, we bought the physical game but we couldn’t play it because we didn’t have the chrono decoder.

I was hoping this app would replace the decoder box. The box is cool but it’s big and bulky and a hassle to store, power and move around. 

But this app doesn’t do anything other than play some background music and let you take a picture of your completed game?

The game instructed us to press start on the Chrono Decoder at the same time as we started the app. Then there was a play button to play music, but the music did not play. The volume was turned up, but no tunes. The app was a bit of a disappointment.

Got this game for a weekend with my little brother, we were excited as we are avid escape room goers. However this game gives you NO guidelines what so ever! We got the one with 3 games in it, the first one 3/5 stars if difficulty was okay, but the second one we did 3.5/5 starts of difficulty was impossible. There was no was you would be able to figure anything out without the walkthrough on their website. the clues make no sense and they don’t give you the assistance you need to complete the game. would not recommend.

We got this for Christmas and we’ve done plenty of escape rooms. This game does not give you all the instructions for how to do everything. We read all instructions provided and still spent the first 30 minutes trying to figure out what we are supposed to actually do. For example, you can know what you need to do, but they don’t tell you how to do it. The submarine one is the only thing we’ve done and the only thing we will do. The first thing your supposed to do is map the rocks and water, but it does not tell you how to do this. None of the instructions tell you how. Nothing tells you how and it’s not something you can just know. How is one to determine this stuff and pull the information from out of nowhere? Overall, I would say only play the main game. That seems to have good reviews, this game was poorly made and the instructions do not explain it well. It’s just frustrating because you’ll spend the whole game confused and they expect you to just somehow KNOW.

Downloaded the app and it doesn’t work. The game was difficult, but fun; however I downloaded the app and the music doesn’t work or anything so the app is pointless.

Downloaded the app to have the music while we played, but it doesn’t work. It recognizes that you pressed play, but no music is heard. Other than the music, there’s no real reason to download the app. So, without the music, I have deleted the app.

This app is pretty useless. I love the physical game, but we have constant problems with the decoder. A digital version of the decoder box makes so much sense, it boggles my mind why they have not developed it in this app for all the games. The physical game will sit on my shelf and I will not recommend it to friends until we have a digital decoder for all the scenarios. The Exit and Unlock games will be bought and played instead.

Only hard because this was our first and didn’t exactly know what to do. But we are ready to take on more.  We got this!   We had to use the app for the decoder- it would had been neat to have the decoder from the original game but I’ll check that out later.
