I decided to invest in lifetime premium to ensure I am nicotine free for life. However, then I bought a new cellphone, and for some reason none of my data was saved. I accidentally clicked on the wrong quit date when making a new account, and quickly discovered I am not able to edit and change that date myself. In order to delete your account, you have to send an email requesting it and they say it will be deleted within 30 days. I did this 3 months ago, and have reached out two additional times with no response and no deletion. Extremely disappointing and frustrating. I was recommending this to everyone previously, and will do so again if you fix my problem. I don’t understand why you complicate the deletion process instead of putting that into the hands of the user, especially if you are incapable of keeping your word. **Developer response:** This is totally unacceptable on our end and we apologize wholeheartedly. It's just the two of us working on this app, with only one developer. Sometimes it takes us longer than expected to get through our delete requests and this is something we must prioritize going forward. We are also eager to make it possible for users to delete their own accounts in the app as this is obviously the best experience for everyone! Also, in case you are still interested in using the app, you should be able to update your quit date in settings where it says "i stopped that sh*t on [date]." We apologize that this was not obvious or intuitive, and will work on improving this experience as well. Thank you for your feedback and for recommending the app prior to our slip up. There are plenty of other apps that give you a way BETTER view of how your health is improving for free, as well as how much money you’ve saved, and communities, again, for free. I used this app solely to keep track of the money saved, as an extra motivator. I checked the app today to see my savings, and sponsored on the front page was a little anecdotal saying they were so happy they quit, and giving me a few words of encouragement. So sweet! I wanted to give back like that person gave to me, so I went to the community to give a word of encouragement to others. PAYWALL BLOCKED. NO ACCESS ALLOWED. RESTRICTED. CANNOT COMMENT UNLESS PAID. Unless you pay them monthly, quarterly, or flat out buy a lifetime membership, you CANNOT give encouraging words to others. You cannot support others going through the same struggles you went through. This app lets you do everything EXCEPT support others. What a terrible terrible design. Learning this, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they were owned by big tobacco, just trying to get one more cent out of their addicts. Read into that as you will.
