Escoffier is a reference app for the five French mother sauces and their derivatives — built for home cooks, culinary students, and professional chefs.

Based on the classical framework of Auguste Escoffier, the app maps the full sauce family tree from béchamel to hollandaise, showing how every sauce connects back to its mother. Whether you are cooking at home for the first time or running a professional kitchen, every recipe is written for you.

Each sauce includes a home recipe scaled for 4 and a restaurant recipe scaled for 20, with step-by-step instructions, built-in timers, ingredient scaling, classic dish pairings, drink pairings, and troubleshooting tips for when things go wrong.
