I sincerely want everyone who is considering the Escort to know that the absolute best way to maximize every aspect of the Escort is to learn the difference between a automatic door opener and a Police hidden behind a billboard. The bark is different depending on the exact location and your location. One thing that I hope you can take away from my limited knowledge is that once you learn the different bark’s and realize that the noise in your car is the most important thing you should be paying attention too. As long as you keep that in mind you probably will never receive a recipe from the bear. My birthday is this month and I have decided to treat myself to the Redline 360c. At my age most things don’t excite me anymore however I feel like a 12 year old kid who is getting his first Honda. (Definitely no sleep tonight) I am not sure if I have had any impact on your decision to choose a bird dog however I do believe if you do choose one, for your wallet, peace of mind and your insurance payment. Keep in mind (YOU DONT NEED TO TAP AN ALERT IMMEDIATELY) when you see a radar trap but anytime you can safely tap it on the device or the app even 1-3 miles later helps alert all of us drivers headed toward that threat. If you have a passenger w/you have them zoom out on the map and tell you if they see anything way up ahead. It can save you a ticket in long flat or hilly and curvy areas on the road ahead. When you see a trap remember that the trap may be working in conjunction with another trap just 3-7 miles apart at times. I call that team work for more tickets when they work together..you call it more tickets and fines. Be aware that this is often how highway type traps function. I’ve observed it a lot.
