Unfortunately the app crashes whenever I try to change fabric colours. And while I’ve had good experiences, two of my friends waited for months for their dresses to arrive. They would have been less frustrated if eshakti had informed them off the delays, especially as the dresses were intended for weddings! ### 3/5 — Love the clothes! *2022-07-25, version 5.0.7* My problem is with the app. It simply freezes all the time. The other odd thing is there are way more sales on the website. Why? People have complained about delivery of merchandise..I worried about this, too. But they give you a window of delivery..& it came within that timeframe. You’ve got to consider: 1. They are made to order, not ready-made. 2. They are coming from India. 3. Customer service DOES respond to your emails. Maybe not the same day..but it’s a different time zone, after all. I’m very pleased with my experience. But I do wish they’d fix the app to be more like the website. ### 2/5 — Updated App Looks Pretty but... *2021-06-06, version 5.0.1* The newly updated app looks clean but takes away some key features. For example, wishlist shows single images and you can’t see which items are “out of stock” anymore unless you click on the item image and scroll down below fold. It would be nice if there was an out of stock icon on the picture so your not wasting your time. Also, order status is now missing so now you have no idea if your order has been shipped. ### 3/5 — Limited view *2021-03-18, version 4.0.2* The website is good for ordering and you can still customize. But after the latest update, I can no longer see the customizations to what I am ordering. The app does not show the view for FX items that were previously viewable. I now have to go to the website, play around with the customization to ensure the dresses are as I prefer, then return to the app. Nit a huge problem, but definitely annoying. ### 4/5 — Difficult to see all options *2020-12-26, version 4.0.1* Although several items are offered in multiple colors, you cannot see all of them in one place. Each color is listed individually in different places ### 4/5 — App mostly good. *2020-07-28, version 4.0.0* I used the app for a few days before making purchase. I had problems with putting in my measurements. The scroll bar to choose your numbers could also close the current screen you are using, if you go near the edge of your phone, then deletes all your unsaved data. Eventually I just wrote all my measurements separately and added them. But took over a half an hour because of that. It is great to see the dresses and outfits on models and the adjustments you want to make, though it wasn’t on all the clothing options. It would be awesome if they added a plus-sized model option because I feel all the outfits looks great on a skinny model, but how would they look on someone us20+?! I’m excited to see how my outfits fit, first custom measurements I’ve ever done! ### 4/5 — Service and clothing are amazing, app can be glitchy *2020-06-04, version 3.1.2* Title says it all. I recommend eShaki to everyone, but sometimes the app glitches and seems to lack some of the functionality of the website like being able to request a return. ### 4/5 — I love eShakti *2020-05-22, version 3.1.2* I love being able to get clothes made to fit me. Regarding the app: Unfortunately the search feature isn’t the helpful. It takes a while for the page to load and if it takes to long it doesn’t load at all. It would be nice when looking at a dress, it takes you to where you left instead of bringing you to the top of the page. It gets tedious, finding where you left off. Having a bookmark feature would be nice. I like a dress but it doesn’t show if it comes in other colors/patterns. If it has other options, it should be made known on the app as it is on the website. What’s available on the website is not available on the app, such as the covid-19 masks. I like being able to use the app, but it can use an update. ### 1/5 — the worst place to buy *2020-03-13, version 3.1.2* Last year I bought a dress that I liked, I did all the steps to order it in the app, it said that from 11 to 14 days for delivery, almost 3 weeks passed, my order did not arrive, I contacted the app, they only apologized because the order I was not on the way, I was still in India, it made me very angry, since it was the dress that I wanted to wear for my brother's wedding, when I arrived I did the steps that they indicated on their site wed to return it, then I received a message and they never returned my money even though I contacted them. that's why I don't recommend it, they just steal your money. **Developer response:** We truly apologize for the delay in your order and any inconvenience it may have caused you. We would found that the delay in refund was due to not receiving return authorization from your end. We apologize for any confusion in enabling you to do so. They just take your money and avoid responding to any correspondence. Not trustworthy. Save yourself the trouble and keep your money. I haven’t been refunded nor have I received my order. ### 1/5 — CLOSED! DO NOT ORDER!! *2024-08-22* Without any notification to their customers, eshakti has closed its doors…yet is continuing to take orders and money. Please beware and DO NOT continue to utilize them. Do not believe the emails of how “their vendors/suppliers aren’t sending quality fabrics”. I was wondering why the last 2 orders I placed took over 10 weeks, and one of them was never sent. Turns out they are closed. Go figure. Highly disappointed with this snake-like behavior when I’d been purchasing from them almost since their inception. Deceitful, dishonest, and thieving. Sad to see that go down. ### 1/5 — Was good, terrible now. *2024-08-17* Clothes and customer service was great. I a, still waiting for 2 dresses one since February. Nothing yet. They were unable to fulfill the order and agreed, via email communication, to a refund. It is now August 2024 and they have not refunded my money nor will they respond to my emails or phone messages. They owe me $330. Do NOT order from this company ### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! *2024-06-24* I’ve been a patron of eShakti for a decade. I must own over 40 of their custom cut garments and have been 100% satisfied with them until recently. In March 2024 I place two orders totaling over $3000 USD. Late May I finally received five of the 45 garments I’d ordered. When I checked the app to see when I might receive the rest of my order, the app claimed that the entire order had been delivered. Website claimed the same. I called them and was placed on hold by an automated system until the same automated voice informed me that their customer service reps were busy so I should leave a message. I did. I’ve called every week (sometimes multiple times) since June 1. I’ve also sent SEVEN emails. I’ve received ZERO responses from them. Meanwhile, they’ve launched a new app for their Western customers called Zapelle. Apparently, they have time/ability to expand but not to serve longtime loyal customers. I’ll be going to a consumer advocate service and my local consumer advocate investigative reporter next. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY WITH ESHAKTI!!! ### 1/5 — Worst Customer Support I've Ever had *2024-06-02* I used to love this company but in the past 6 months I've literally never had worse customer service. First my order was delayed, ok cool ... for 3 months. After three months of being told it was coming I asked to cancel the order and for a refund. I received an emailed confirmation that it was being canceled and I would receive a refund. And yet low and behold online they declared the canceled items delivered and never gave me a refund. And when I emailed via both their website and responding to their customer service emails again stating what happened, the just ignored me. And I have emailed, receipts, and ignored messages from them to back me up on this. I have proof of their refusal to refund a customer and they don't care, even when I submitted it to them. Do. Not. Shop. Here. They rip you off and then pretend they didn't until you go away because you're too tired from banging your head against a wall. ### 1/5 — Customer service is non existent *2024-06-01* On October 16, 2023 I placed an order for 2 dresses, the app said it would be delivered 11/4. On 11/10 I contacted customer service to see where my order was - they replied there would be a delay due to quality issues with one of the dresses- ok no problem but since it would arrive late I no longer needed one of the dresses, they said they would cancel that dress for delivery and issue a refund - great- however I was never refunded for the dress. I then emailed them every month since (this is now June) and I have yet to receive a response back from them about my refund - almost 7 months from my original order. ### 1/5 — Never recommend! *2023-11-28* I would never recommend them! Don't trust them..they are fraud. I made a custom order, paid the money, and they sent me a confirmation of the order and informed me of receipt in a month. After a period of time had passed without any response, I sent a message through the application without a response from anyone. I waited a few days, then sent an email to the customer service, and no one responded. I called the number in the application and someone answered saying that the fabric is not available and if you want, wait for an unknown time or ask to cancel the order!! I asked to cancel and she told me that we will send an email confirming the refund within 3 days, and of course I have not received the money or the email yet. ### 1/5 — SCAM COMPANY DO NOT BUY *2023-02-03, version 5.0.9* I purchased an ok garment from them in September and returned it just fine, following all of their rules for making a return. I have confirmation that they received my return. It is now February and I have yet to receive my money for said return. I have contacted them through email and at first received a response saying that my money would be processed but I still have yet to hear anything or have said money put back on my account. Very dissatisfied with their “customer service”. ### 1/5 — I can’t order anything online or on the app. *2020-09-06* The app is keep crashing and I have iPhone 11. Every purchase I’ve made from this company has been of the highest quality, and the fit has been consistently perfect. I feel beautiful in these clothes. ### 5/5 — Fully functional *2021-01-14, version 4.0.1* You can do everything you can on the website, but it’s designed for a smaller screen. I usually prefer a bigger screen to really look at the clothes, but this is good for idle browsing, or for checking out with items I placed in my cart earlier. I love the custom sizing option and adore that I can alter neck, sleeves and length to fit my personal preferences. Try them out, you won’t regret it, I sure haven’t. This has has saved so much trouble. This is the only website I found that accommodates all shapes and sizes and allows you to customize every aspect of the clothing for a reasonable price. In addition, because of delays my mother was not going to receive her dress until after the wedding. After contacting the company her dress was expedited and arrived very quickly!
