### 2/5 — Doesn’t Work for a 5.0 Rating

*2026-02-11*

Tried to track a package from Amazon that I ordered and it says it shipped thru USPS. I copied and pasted the tracking number into the eShip app and it says it’s a FedEx package. I tried to change the carrier to USPS and it won’t allow me to change the carrier. This needs fixed.

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for the detailed report. This was a confirmed bug — some USPS tracking numbers were being misidentified as FedEx due to a pattern-matching issue in our auto-detection,
and the carrier couldn't be corrected after being added. Both are fixed in our newest update:
detection now correctly prioritizes USPS prefixes, and you can tap the carrier in the
package detail view to change it. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

### 3/5 — Keeps defaulting to FedeX

*2026-02-24*

Paste a Tracking number and it gets auto detected as a FedEx package. Then when you try to add others they all get put in as FedEx and the tracking screen keeps sliding down when you try to edit it or make another.

**Developer response:** Hi LocBox, thanks for flagging this. Our carrier auto-detection had a rare bug where USPS tracking numbers could be incorrectly matched to FedEx. We've fixed the detection logic in our newest update. We also added the ability to change the carrier directly from the package detail screen if it ever gets it wrong. Appreciate the feedback!
