## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes when I hit record

*2019-11-17, version 1.0*

This app is really cool, but it recently started crashing every time I hit the record button. I would love to get it working again. Five stars when it’s working. Using iso 13.1.3

### 1/5 — Crashes on launch

Please help?

### 4/5 — Simplicity and immediacy

*2019-03-29, version 1.0*

I really like Esion’s simplicity and immediacy. Despite the lack of AU3, AB or IAA, this is a very useful recorder for capturing organic and immediate rhythms and drones for use in other places.

### 5/5 — Just as Described

*2022-06-14, version 1.1*

Playful, fun and inspiring.

### 5/5 — Instant gratification

*2020-09-19, version 1.1*

Out of dozens of music apps I’ve downloaded in the past couple of years this one by far the most fun to use . Simple and intuitive yet capable of producing complex and unique textures.
Well done!

### 5/5 — Reviewed after update

*2019-12-18, version 1.1*

Changing my zero star rating to 5 stars.

Developer fixed the microphone bug (Dec 2019) with an update and the app works again.

Super fun to play with and very easy to make something musical out of random noises. I especially like the bitcrusher and how it interacts. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2019-06-18, version 1.0*

Super fun and easy to use app. I turned my four year old loose on it and we have had a whole fun day of making crazy noises. Definitely going to plug this noise maker in after bedtime and do some recording with it.

### 5/5 — Pure fun

*2019-03-31, version 1.0*

The main reason I pick this up was because the developer made a video and posted it on YouTube explaining how to use it. Very simple and you can save your sounds as a wave file. I can import that wave file into SpaceCraft and do other things with it so suddenly this standalone became very useful for other things. I think this is about to become a regular use app for me.

Suggestions...
I’d love to see some modulation effects added and maybe a way to single out groups of frequencies. In other words if I like the bass part of a recording but not the treble maybe I can knock out that treble. Also there appears to be a gap in the loop. If I record a continuous sound it doesn’t loop continuously. There’s a gap in the recording. I’d like to see the gap eliminated.

All in all, a great first offering in this app.

### 5/5 — Love itI

*2019-03-28, version 1.0*

Cool, unique, intuitive interface. Record and export out. Loads of fun. Small footprint. Universal.

Sold!

### 5/5 — Creative and fun

*2019-03-28, version 1.0*

This app is really well designed and very intuitive. It’s fun to just mess with sounds and record anything good that comes out of it. In the first 10 minutes I already had two ideas recorded. I’m excited to continue using this!
