Designed for easy identification of all snakes likely to be spotted, this app helps you identify snakes by photo, view venomous vs non‐venomous danger levels, and learn about habitats, size, scale patterns and behaviour. It even includes emergency hospital contacts, just in case you get a little too close.

THE AUTHOR
Johan Marais is an entrepreneur, naturalist and photographer. He has contributed significantly towards the conservation of reptiles during the past twenty years. He has lectured widely on the topic, is past chairman of the Herpetological Association of Africa and serves as a member of the Crocodile Specialist Group (Species Survival Commission) of the World Conservation Union (IUCN). He has authored a range of books, including A Complete Guide to the Snakes of Southern Africa.
