There is currently only 1 advertisement on and it doesn’t work. This ad will play during my music, and will pause it and make me unable to listen to music until I refresh the app. I’m sure you can understand where I’m coming from as most people have this app running in the background when they are doing other stuff, and it is very annoying having to constantly refresh the app and see two ads just to listen to basically only 3 songs before it glitches again. This was never a problem before, and the ads you were testing before were fine. Please fix this issue. ### 3/5 — Offline button *2024-08-21* I would like to start off that I love this app, the only problem is and I notice many people have the same problem is that the ‘download offline’ button is just gone. Like what? The main feature that people look for in a music app is being able to listen to songs offline, but that is not the case in ESound. Please fix this, if you want a better rating and experience for all the people using this app. ### 3/5 — Okay *2024-08-13* I downloaded this app because it was highly recommended and also had things that i needed (cheap, no ads and able to download for offline usage) i bought the premium so i could access all of these and also because a years subscription was the same as spotify’s monthly subscription. The first few months were fine, no issues. recently the app has been needing updates quite frequently and not been able to use without updating, which wasnt a game changer. I recently became aware that they have removed the download option so i cannot listen to music offline. If the app could restore this function then if would be amazing, otherwise i might have to stop using it and go through the aggro of transferring my playlists to another platform, which i dont want to have to do. Hopefully someone can get into contact with me about what can be done. ### 3/5 — Getting repetitive and aggravating *2024-07-22* So when I first downloaded this app, it was perfectly fine and everything was working great. Then about 3 months after I had gotten it, when I tried to listen to a song it would no longer work and say something like “song is not available” (not exactly). It would say that on any song I tried. I also tried using the “fix a bug” add-on and it still did not work. To try to solve the problem I deleted the app and got it back. But guess what, it still didn’t work. So then, I deleted my account to see if it would work then. Sadly; it did not. So I waited a few weeks then tried again. It was finally working again. I was happy and started using the app almost every day from then on. But, about 1 month later it started to not work again. So, I repeated the whole process of deleting the app/account. It still is not working and I hope you can figure this bug out. Thanks ### 4/5 — love, but *2024-07-12* i love this app, i appreciate it so much, BUT there have been A LOT of bugs and glitches lately. i haven’t been able to download any new songs for about 2 weeks, every time i try i get a notification saying i have a weak connection or not enough storage, but i have strong wifi and lots of storage left! the feature they added to swipe right to queue a song or left to heart a song was also recently taken away which is such a bummer cause that was so helpful. usually these bugs go away in time which is something i also enjoy about the app but it seems like this one has taken longer than most of the bugs i’ve encountered. this app has come a long way i started using it in 2021 and it’s been the only thing i use since, but it seems the app is backtracking. before these bugs i loved this app. i hope these issues can be fixed soon! ### 4/5 — Bugs?? *2024-07-11* The apl is great I could listen to whatever I wanted but only recently every song I’ve tried to play a little notification comes up that says “this song is not available try a different one” and whenever I try a different one the same message pops up and it is now happening for all the song. I can’t listen to anything at all and whenever the notification come up it plays and ad. When I first got the app there was only one ad when I picked my first song a put my phone in my pocket do I could listen trough my AirPod now nothing works. I is/was a great app until this happened. (I don’t think this happens to everyone, but it is still a great app) Please fix ### 2/5 — tf!? *2024-07-10* What the heck!? Whenever I click a song it says track not available please choose another one. I have tried all the songs in that playlist + the fix song button. Still says that. You guys used to be great. Fix it please. ### 4/5 — The app is great app but.. *2024-03-09* This app is great. I’ve had it’s for going on 4 years but lately I’ve been having issues. For example, about once a month and sometimes more, I can’t play a single song on my playlist. The app will say, “this song is unavailable” throughout my whole entire playlist. And I’m having this issue as of this very moment. Furthermore, I can not download my songs offline. I’ve never had the option to download a song offline at all. According to my observations, the app clearly states that you can download song offline but It’s looks to me that’s false advertisement. Finally, this app has way too many ads. Again, according to my experience, almost every tap on the screen I make there’s an ad popping up. The ads take up way too much time to just play a single song. It’s unfortunate. I have tried everything possible to make this app work for me. For example, I’ve updated the app every time an update was available yet, no changes. I’ve deleted the app as a whole and redownloaded it and yet, again, no changes. I truly hope the ESound industry makes its way back up the charts. It’s devastating knowing the app is at a constant fail. ### 4/5 — 😡 *2024-02-28* I've used this app for over 2 years. The first year I didn't pay for premium and would just accept the ads. After a year I figured it was worth it to pay for premium with how much I used the app because it was perfect. I could find and download almost any song known to our universe. This was by far the most used app on my phone and I LOVED it so l recommended it to everyone I came across. Today I open the app to play music on my drive and it has deleted over 5gigs of music, and now I can't download the songs and play them offline. I'm giving 4 stars because it has been so reliable over the years but if they can't fix these issues then I will cancel my yearly subscription and delete the app. There are other options available for around the same price. Just let me download my music and I will continue to recommend this app to everyone I know. Thank you. ### 3/5 — almost perfect *2024-01-30* upon opening the app you are greeted with a 5 second ad which would be fine usually after choosing a song or whatever theres another ad and while listening to the song I hear another ad while the song is playing so theres an ad and the song playing at the same time the amount of ads is annoying but i could see why If it wearnt for the ads that require you to click a x i can guarantee i clicked it and it sent me to the appstore 40 times i swear it feels intentional at this point and its very janky and buggy while listening to music and reopening the app most of the time somethings broken either i cant skip songs and it says i did but still plays the same song or its none of the songs playing at all OR its some random glitch that makes it so i cant listen to any music and it just says music unavailable for like a whole day and then fixes it self i dont really understand how these havent been fixed i dont know but i dont think it should take this long **Developer response:** Hi, send us a message at support@esound.app explaining your problem and we will be happy to help you if possible. Please just remove the advertising between songs because it’s actually making me fall depressed and stressed because I’m just trying to find a different song. Or At least make it happen once every 10 songs because it’s honestly hurting me inside and out I am getting so annoyed and when I’m in a bad mood and an ad shows up this is gonna drive me crazy. Many thanks, Me, 👍🏼 ### 3/5 — Good app but multitude of problems *2023-12-19* I have been using eSound for over 4 years now and everything has been alright for the app but just today I have been experiencing a multitude of problems 1. All my song thumbnails are random pictures 2. The artist name for each song have been switched with other songs 3. I am having the music videos play even though I have it turned off 4. All of my music tracks length have been cut in half and my playlist will go to the next song half way through the first one 5. I went ahead and deleted the app and reinstalled it to try and refresh everything but now when I try too log in it says there is an issue connecting with the server or it just loads and never logs me in. **Developer response:** Hello, we would be happy to help you, we care about our users. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Not being able to download songs *2023-12-01* It’s really nice to experience this amazing app yall have created for music I really love it and it stands out from most music players. The reason why I have it 4 stars it’s because you can’t download music to listen to when I am offline or not connected to the WiFi sadly. I hope they add a feature like this in there next upcoming updates. ### 2/5 — Can't listen to downloaded songs? *2023-09-12* I've only had this app for a few months, maybe even less, but as soon as I downloaded it I've experienced many technical issues. One that I experienced almost immediately was there was no option for me to download my music offline. I kept opening and closing the app, but nothing was working. I also restarted my iPhone, but that did not help either. I gave it a few days, and I was finally able to download my songs. It was a quick and easy process. However, even when I attempted to play them offline, it didn't work. I also just discovered the other day, that ALL the songs I downloaded have mysteriously been taken offline? I just tried to download them all again, and I tested to see if it would finally work offline. It worked for a brief second, then when I attempted again, it kept telling me there was an error and to try a different track. Wish it would work because I travel a lot where there is usually no service available for at least an hour. Other than that, the app has a very sleek, clean design, and I do like it. Gracias. ### 4/5 — Irritating *2023-09-05* Im going to get straight to the point. It’s a good app, HOWEVER there are SO MANY ads. Literally open the app and you’ll get an ad which is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t think it’s appropriate to get an ad after almost every single song or just from opening the app. Secondly when I download music, then go off line, it does not work and I really don’t understand that. Plus the download button is not even available half of the time. Thirdly, even after closing ads the music from the ad STILL plays. Ive literally closed the app 3 times and it keeps going. I honestly wouldn’t even recommend this to someone because it’s lowkey just not fun or a good app anymore. It was great at first especially because it didn’t have many ads and all music is available but these bugs and stuff are just plain irritating. I hope y’all fix this issue. ### 2/5 — Used to be great, but now it’s only an inconvenience *2023-08-23* Ok so I had this app for about a year now and it’s been really great, especially the feature to download songs and listen to them offline. However ever since the latest update or whatever the ability to download songs has been taken off which is really a problem since I mostly relied on the downloading feature because most of the places I have to go to doesn’t have any Wi-Fi or internet to use, and the extra fact that I have to walk to a lot of those places, so now I can really only use this app when I’m at home or somewhere with free Wi-Fi. So if your the person who stays at home a lot then this app is for you, however if you’re someone like me who has to move around a good bit then you might wanna keep looking. ### 4/5 — Finally *2023-08-20* I finally figured out why my music wasn’t working but I’ll tell you the story first so I was just minding my own business about to turn on music and then all the sudden I see re-download this song or something like that and I thought maybe I should just shut my phone off and turn it back on I did that it didn’t work. I tried going out of the app back into the app resetting my Internet. None of it was working so a week later I tried again didn’t work one day later I was like oh maybe I need to update the app so I update it and it finally worked again a day later I had to update it again because it didn’t work, once I finally finished updating it, I got to listen to my music and I’ve been fine for a month now so if your music isn’t working and it’s saying some weird thing that you need to like re-download the music try updating your app because I’m not even joking. It actually works. Good luck bye ✌🏻 ### 2/5 — good before but now just bad *2023-08-13* literally today i was downloading a music and it downloaded but later it disappeared from my saved playlist and another thing is that when you are about to play another song a ANNOYING pop up add comes up EVERY TEN SECONDS. The app was good before but now having it for like a few months now its getting annoying and if the developers see this PLEASE fox your app and put LESS ADDS because it’s straight up annoying and FIX the download button because my songs keep on disappearing and wont download. Theses were the bad/annoying things that happened some good things that are still here are that you can listen without wifi and play the music. I was already downloading songs and then I got to about 40 downloads - suddenly the download button disappears. so I refresh the app, doesn’t appear, I tried settings or trying different ways but it doesn’t appear. i turned my WiFi off to see if I can even play the songs I downloaded, to say I got an error!! (something like WC015 idk) and I got really frustrated. I even deleted and downloaded the app again to see it deleted all my saves but the download button STILL didn’t appear. I wasted an entire 2 hours organizing and downloading songs just for this to not work. Find other apps other than esound. ### 1/5 — Track not available issue *2024-07-09* The app keeps saying sound not available for every song I try to play, it’s very irritating ### 1/5 — It was a good app until it wasn’t. *2023-12-02* I had this app and it worked very well, to which I thought I may as well pay for premium because the quality was on top. Paid for premium and it worked for what, one week, for it to just crash and apparently not have a connection. I had not used it for a couple of days as I have not been out in my car, but wanted to download some songs to my playlist. After ten minutes of trying to download a song and it saying that the server has failed (or something like that), a message pops up saying “This account has been deleted. The account has been deleted as requested. You can create a new account when you want and go back to using eSound”???? Even though I did not request deletion. So my account was deleted, I have made a ‘new’ one with the same login and my premium has completely disappeared. I knew that there was something too good to be true for £1.79 a month. So now they have my money and have taken my account off me? Do not waste your time. It was working where I could download the songs but now it has been removed, I am going to uninstall 🙄 ### 1/5 — Don’t Get Premium! *2022-07-20, version 4.3.2* I got this app so that I could listen to my music anywhere at anytime, after I saw that my girlfriend could download music easily I figured this was the app for me but I was wrong. I got this and then purchased the premium version of the app so that I didn’t have to deal with the awful amount of ads that my girlfriend has to watch but it won’t allow for the download of offline music after you make your account premium, after hours of trying to find the problem we logged onto her account of my phone and sure enough I got the option to download music proving that it was the premium version that was causing the issues. This newest update fixed the ability to download songs offline. It would pop up with an error before this update published 16Hrs ago. Great app when you disable ads to listen to songs. Experiences- 1. I recently searched for a small artist (Claudia Tan) and I couldn’t find her, I found her song tho. When I clicked to see her page it was all mixed up with a bunch of different artists also named Claudia, it got confusing and I was wondering why one cover had a 26 year old woman and the other had a woman that was old enough to be her mom. 2. I was searching for vocaloid songs and Mikus page is a hot mess- it’s a bunch of songs that ARE Miku but sometimes the “albums” are literally so random?! Also some songs have the wrong title completely. 3. For 2 days I couldn’t play a single song because it said all of them were unavailable, solution? Delete and reinstall or restart the app over and over again. That’s all I got, have fun listening to music <3 ### 5/5 — Sounds quality in my car and the app itself are amazing *2024-03-24* I’ve been looking for a new app to download for music streaming that will sound good in my brand new car and I tried many. But there’s always something lacking whether it’s not loud enough or the clarity is not clear enough or the quality is not good or the selection is not good, I think I just found the mother load. With other apps if I had my sunroof open or my windows down, I could barely hear the music, but I’ll tell you right now. I drove with my sunroof down on the interstate and I didn’t even have my volume turned up halfway and I could hear it Crystal clear the music doesn’t or get tied up. I’ve had no issues with it so far and I would highly recommend it. I like it. Its a great app for a great price. It’s easy to download songs. I can put songs in a separate playlist if I want to. I have easily found every single song I’ve ever wanted to download . I get sick of songs easily so I delete them often and don’t feel guilty about it costing me money. Unlike other music apps I’ve used it’s very easy to find my downloaded music. I have no complaints obviously there are a couple bugs I have encountered over the years I’ve been using eSound but I cannot complain about that especially because this software is in a building/optimizing stage. I thought about it for awhile now and I think adding an “equalizer” in the settings MAYBE for premium users only (doesn’t have to be) to benefit from would be a great addition to eSound just to allow users to better enhance and refine their listening experience to get the most out of the music we listen to everyday! But I have a suggestion that I would really appreciate being added to the app, It would be great if there was a feature where you can turn off and on the music video on a song. My internet is quite slow so the music video playing while I am listening to the song makes it take a long time for the song to load which is quite annoying. And because of the iOS picture in picture feature every time I exit the app whilst listening to music the music video of the song pops into the corner of my screen which is quite annoying.
