## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No alerts on phone

*2020-12-14, version 1.2.1*

What is the point of this device if it doesn’t notify you someone is ringing the door. For a good 6 months it worked well. Please update so I receive notifications. Otherwise it’s completely useless. A waste of money and time.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-10-14, version 1.2.1*

Don’t bother it keeps failing

### 1/5 — Support good / terrible product

*2020-10-07, version 1.2.1*

We’ve had the unit for over a year... Regularly used to losing connection with the device, need to keep resetting (which is a pain). Most recently however, this has resulted in no connection between the device and our phones ie no alerts when bell used by a visitor.

Support is amazing from uk staff in terms of talking you through the reset process, but no comment once you get to the point where the software falls down ie bell/unit useless.

Could possibly benefit from a software / app update, but with no apparent appetite to do so, this unit is rendered a total waste of time and money.

### 1/5 — I wish this worked

*2020-09-19, version 1.2.1*

Very unreliable.
Never works properly.
Wish we had bought a different system.

### 1/5 — Camera never online

*2020-07-04, version 1.2.1*

Been using this for 6 months but currently looking for a replacement , it struggles to stay online , when connected to the wifi its not too bad but is very patchy when on 4G , it has promise but is quite there yet

### 1/5 — Great idea.... If it actually worked

*2020-05-17, version 1.2.1*

One simple problem; when the bell button is pressed there is a 30 second (or more) delay between answer and response - you cannot hold a conversation with such a delay. Hard wiring the unit, as opposed to WiFi, makes little difference, there is still the substantial delay, rendering the product unworkable. Don’t waste your money; it’s no better than a simple doorbell.

### 1/5 — No customer support

*2019-07-19, version 1.1*

After drilling massive holes in my walls to get the in, its the biggest pile of crap ever.
Will be using a ring doorbell after all of this. It rings too loud the app now doesn’t work it’s slow as hell cant speak to anyone and I’ve spoken to so many people from the company and they don’t know the answers totally unreliable EXPENSIVE product if you’ve bought one take it back!!!

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work!

*2019-06-19, version 1.1*

Have to agree with all other comments.
A complete pain to set up. I have great strength WiFi at gate but still takes an age for picture to come on screen when called, by that time visitor has buggered off. Manual is pants! Much cheaper options available. The only bonus with this system is that it has a lock output to open my electric gates.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2018-11-04, version 1.1*

Absolute junk. It will not connect to a WiFi despite whistling to it several times (made me think of Prometheus when they control a ship with a flute) and creating a dedicated security 2.4ghz WiFi for it. The manual refers to using a WiFi QR code to show the camera, a feature that does not exist in the app. The app has Chinese origins as the option to connect to wireless when hard wired displays cancel or confirm in Chinese. Why can’t it have its own AP like every other including a lot cheaper systems I might add. Stay away from this system a £25 eBay Chinese import far outstrips it.

### 1/5 — Seems toHave a huge problem

*2017-06-29, version 1.0*

I spent £250 on your wifi door entry system and currently I can only let people in if the app is open as it continually goes offline when it isn't which means the doorbell rings for ages but the app doesn't pick it up so I can let them in. Obviously I can't have the app open all the time because I can't use my phone , currently I am going back into the app every ten minutes to jolt it into going back online. Emailed you but got no reply. Not great service really and this app flat out doesn't work.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 3/5 — Good product but too slow

*2019-08-13, version 1.2.1*

I have my unit installed in a location exposed to severe weather - especially wind and driving rain. This is the only product I could find that is robust enough for these conditions. I find that the product works OK, but if someone rings the bell response time on my phone is far too slow - often too late to talk to the caller. Surely something could be done to fix this? Connection to a local server for instance...

### 2/5 — Need software updates to keep up with Apple

*2020-11-03, version 1.2.1*

Good product, OK app but awful at keeping up with apple updates. Originally purchase the door unit having looked at other and decided this would run in the background via app refresh so it answers when someone rings. Then every Apple update this app falls behind and no won’t ring through so pretty useless product. Such a shame. Guys please update to give background refresh so it actually rings!

### 2/5 — Great idea awful software

*2019-09-29, version 1.2.1*

Once it drops you will find the instructions next to useless.
The bell keeps ringing unless you pick up your phone and turn it off.
Great idea. Poor product support

### 2/5 — Poor manual

*2018-12-01, version 1.1*

Product works, following installation by a qualified electrician. But the manual is useless. I have no idea what the ‘defense’ button does. I can’t record and I’m frustrated.
Another case of an ok product let down by an awful manual.
