Every time I go on the app it takes about 10 minutes just to log in. It crashes and throws me off the app. ### 1/5 — Sort Out The Bugs *2019-09-18, version 1.0.2* Since the latest update I’m lucky if I can get onto the system. I either get an error message that the username or password is incorrect (it isn’t) or the login screen hangs. It’s a total waste of time. At least on the older version I could see the cameras. Pointless having cameras installed if you can’t access them ### 1/5 — I don’t know how you’ve made it worse *2019-09-02, version 1.0.2* The app has recently been updated and I was excited to try it but somehow it’s worse. The signal is constantly failing and won’t open the screens to view the cameras. I get connection fail nearly every time now whereas the previous version worked. Please sort it out ### 1/5 — Utterly useless *2019-08-21, version 1.0.1* Ninety percent of the time I can’t remotely view or play back. Just says cameras have been offline and the only way to reset is to turn the power off and back on again. My system only stores three days of imaging so if I’m away for a week then the first four days are overwritten before I can reset. Wish I’d read the app reviews before buying. Installed this system for 3 customers. Had to now replace the dvr due to app issues. Can’t connect, constantly showing no WiFi messages, wrong password.. this app is awful. Not impressed. ### 1/5 — Horrendous App. Do NOT buy the system *2019-04-03, version 1.0.1* I’m a Professional Electrician, installed this at my house on Monday morning and ordered a Hikvision replacement system Tuesday afternoon! As per the title, a truly horrendous system, the app worked once. System is scheduled to reboot on a Tuesday morning (default setting) which it did but was assigned a different IP address upon doing so, and despite numerous attempts to log back in via the app I’m unable to do so The configuration of the system via the DVR is clunky and very user un-friendly DO NOT BUY THIS SYSTEM!! If I could rate it less than one star then I would ### 1/5 — Never updated, full of bugs *2018-05-30, version 1.0.1* This app is so buggy that it will crash at any given opportunity: whenever you view cameras in HD mode, whenever you double tap on a camera to view just that channel, whenever you go on the remote playback page... The list is endless! Looking at the update history, it has never been updated since release. Don’t release an app if it is not fit for purpose and then deny all knowledge of any bugs (of which the majority are major)! Ridiculously hit and miss on whether it’ll work or not. This is just perfect for viewing your ESP HD cameras remotely live. There’s lots of features on the app, that to be fair you don’t really need as if your reviewing events, it’s for a reason and your better doing that locally (as with any other CCTV system) Overall pleased with the app, just make sure you put the settings into ‘Main’ in the live view section to get the best remote resolution - Perfect 👍 ### 3/5 — Update needed. *2024-09-08, version 1.0.7* Constantly showing “the system has been offline” when it works it’s good but for the last six months it’s offline more than on. It’s fantastic on my tv but rubbish on the mobile. Why doesn’t it just reboot if it’s been offline. I have to delete and reinstall the whole thing from my phone. It will work then until it goes offline again ### 3/5 — Zoom function “ missing “ *2019-08-27, version 1.0.2* Since the latest upgrade the function to zoom the cameras in has “ disappeared” from the control bar .. I’m using iPhone X I’ve checked the help section to no avail and also gone through all the “ buttons” again to no avail . Can u assist at all ? ### 2/5 — Too often it does not load! *2021-06-09, version 1.0.7* When trying to access the system remotely, it keeps stating ‘equipment is offline’ but this is not the case ### 2/5 — When it works...... *2020-06-18, version 1.0.5* The recent upgrade has made it worse. Sometimes it loads, often it doesn’t on the iPad. You need a reliable app that delivers every time not just occasionally. When it occasionally loads the picture is good etc. The app needs a lot of work to make sure it works on Apple devices all the time. ### 2/5 — Basic at best *2020-04-06, version 1.0.4* The app is designed to give the most basic of features, no in app support available no option to configure the settings through the app. Combine that with the overly complicated setup of the actual DVR as supplied by ESP and it’s terrible. The only reason I still have it is because I haven’t figured out a way of using a different app with my camera system. ### 2/5 — No remote view *2019-11-24, version 1.0.2* I had this cctv system installed and over WiFi it is good but I cannot view my cameras with my iPhone when I use 4G and the instructions on the system aren’t clear how to set it up. Very frustrating ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2018-06-24, version 1.0.1* Worked well for a few weeks but then kept crashing. Time was incorrect so could never have used it for the purpose installed. Developers need to sort the bugs. ### 2/5 — Crashes regularly *2017-06-28, version 1.0.1* Downloaded this after having CCTV put in. It's half decent to view live pictures especially on wifi but over 3/4g it's very slow. Done the app update and had to register again with an alternative email address as the stored details magically wouldn't work after the update. Try doing something like remote playback etc and it constantly crashes... I'm considering changing the box element and go with a different unit which you shouldn't have to do after outlaying money to have it installed but I'm not getting the full potential.
