## What is Espiga?

Learn from the words in your life. Play to make them stick.

Espiga combines a language-learning app with an iPhone keyboard. Write your everyday messages, discover useful vocabulary, then return to the app for short challenges and reviews built around your words.

YOUR KEYBOARD IS THE STARTING POINT
Type in French or English. Espiga spots useful words and helps you learn Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or English. Your vocabulary grows from the language you actually use.

SHORT GAMES, REAL PRACTICE
Build a sentence with Espi Combo. Replace a mistake with Espi Fix. Change a detail with Espi Switch. Review your vocabulary with flashcards and multiple-choice questions.

PLAY IN YOUR KEYBOARD
Espi Sprint offers quick vocabulary practice between messages. With Espi Remix, accept a short sentence and rebuild its translation word by word.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Earn points as you practice. Unlock badges, improve your Sprint record and climb the leaderboard. Your vocabulary map shows the themes you have explored.

A PROFILE THAT GOES WITH YOU
Sign in with Apple to keep your profile and learning backup. Only your username, avatar, learning language, points and public achievements appear in the ranking. Your vocabulary and private learning backup are not public.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Ordinary typing and corrections work on your iPhone. Remix sends only the displayed sentence for online translation after you agree. Entire conversations are not sent automatically. Optional usage analytics exclude your typed texts.

The keyboard requires Allow Full Access to save progress in Espiga. Online translation, account backup and ranking require an Internet connection. You can delete your online account from your profile.

ACCESS
Monthly and yearly subscriptions are available. Prices and any eligible free trial are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.1 — 2026-09-24

A keyboard that lasts, even in the apps where you open it fifty times.

• The keyboard no longer reloads its typing engine on every appearance: it stays light through long conversations instead of being shut down by iOS.
• A clear message when Apple briefly rate-limits sign-in, instead of a failure with no explanation.

### 2.2 — 2026-09-22

A French keyboard that learns you, and a setup that shows instead of tells.

• French autocorrection reworked on real conversations: fewer unwanted changes, texting slang left alone.
• The apostrophe right on the French keyboards (AZERTY, QWERTY, QWERTZ).
• New onboarding: short recordings of the real keyboard, watched once.
• A much lighter app: languages install after setup.
• Espi Remix asks for your consent once; your stats refresh as soon as the keyboard closes.
