Probably happens 3 out of 4 times I go to play the stream. Also the stream doesn’t seem to handle interruptions very well. If the stream is interrupted by a call, it usually totally loses connection rather than rejoin. This gets a little frustrating. Otherwise the app is good. ### 2/5 — Interviews crash *2023-07-26, version 11.15.20* This app needs some help. Every time I listen to an interview it crashes and kicks me out, so I have to navigate back into the host/show I was in, scroll back through all of the possible interviews to find the one I was listening to, listen to another 60-second add, and then try to toggle back to the spot in the interview I was at to resume. And then after I do all that, it generally crashes again an I can either start the whole process over, or I can bag it and just not listen anymore. So annoying. ### 2/5 — App won’t keep playing! *2022-10-05, version 11.15.20* Listening to replays/streams and the screen on iPhone turns off and it turns off the stream every time. Then you have to restart we’re you were. Very stupid, Probly easy fix guys. C’mon now? Reading the other reviews, looks like I’m not the only one. Other than that, it works great. Live play while I’m jogging/working works fine. ### 1/5 — App still crashes during podcasts. *2019-08-24, version 5.3* I want to listen to interviews, but most of the time the app crashes partway in, requiring starting over and trying to find where interview was mid-stream. Looking at other comments it seems this has been an app with problems for some time. This one doesn’t seem to work super well. ### 2/5 — Fix Your App! *2018-12-19, version 5.3* I can’t count how many half interviews I’ve listened to on this app. Half way through, the app crashes and to finish it, I would have to reopen the app, renavigate their poorly organized options, refund the interview and figure out where the conversation ended. So I usually just give up and move on. It wouldn’t be such a big issue if the mobile version of the website wasn’t equally dysfunctional. Just trying to press the play button on an interview can be a venture in futility. I live out of state and ESPN 700 online/app is one of my few options to keep up with what’s happening in the program. I’ve been using the app for years and it simply has not gotten better over that time. ### 1/5 — Podcasts Die *2018-10-17, version 5.3* Every podcast I listen to stops playing after about 3 minutes. When you pull it back up it wants to start over and you have to search for where it stopped. The content is never organized, and what content is available is impossible to find. The app is unstable and crashes frequently when you try to do things like use the app. Unacceptable and utter garbage. All other apps stay working when you get a phone call or switch to a website. Very frustrating but I gotta hear the UTE games. Whomever manages this app should be embarrassed! ### 1/5 — Oconnel awful. Spence worse. Riley coward. App reflects who they are *2024-11-21, version 11.17.85* Only good for the Dan Patrick show or if you love having apps that crash. Spence is a weak and fragile man who uses is “hardships in life” (concequences for his own behavior acting like a loser) as an excuse to act intelligent and superior to his gusts opinions while just being generally wrong about sports and pandering to a bias audience. Oconnel is the least painful of the 3, but he’s so bad at what he talks about that it speaks volumes Riley is a coward who fired awesome hosts over and over than ran and his on corners when he was called on it and built the worst app that always crashes before leaving the mess behind. He is a man who’s afraid and he overeats to run from his fears ### 1/5 — Too many ads *2024-11-10, version 11.17.85* Every time I try to listen and get updates on the Utes, it is on an ad break. Or maybe it’s just the ads when I open the app, I can’t figure it out. If I move away from the app to another app it stops the stream. I had to restart the app multiple times to be lucky enough to not get an ad to load so the stream would start. Also the stream is extremely brittle and can’t handle the slightest interruption. If the stream is interrupted by a call, for example, it usually totally loses connection rather than rejoin following the call like most streaming apps.
