I have an iPhone 8plus and this app constantly just shuts off, stops playing, or all of a sudden has to load again after playing for a while. Not to mention if you open your phone to look at anything other than the app it stops playing. I know it’s not my phone or the provider cuz this is a different phone and provider from when I first got the app and had the same problems then! And because of the stupid ad and being behind from the actual radio. When it gets back up and running after a few minutes, it jumps so far ahead you miss so much! It’s great being at the gym WATCHING the game on espn and the radio is delayed by a play because of some irrelevant commercial from Utah. Don’t worry CAMPING WORLD, I’ll be sure to not use you the next time I’m in the market. Absolute crap. Not to mention the connectivity is terrible. There are times where I try and use the app and get a “network error” message no matter how strong my connection to numerous sources of wifi is or how many bars of 4G LTE I have. I finally stopped receiving that error and now the radio stations just won’t play at all. I’m a huge fan of Keyshawn Jay Will & Max, but I live in GA, so if ESPN isn’t live streaming the radio show on tv, there’s no way for me to tune in via radio which is why I used the app. It’s beyond frustrating that I can’t tune into my favorite radio show because ESPN can’t get their own app together regardless of them being a multi million dollar industry. Luckily, Keyshawn Jay Will & Max are on Apple podcast so I can catch it there. I will NEVER use the ESPN radio app again and I need it to be known that the reason is because of the subpar experience and lack of functionality.
