For the past two weeks I’ve been having to print my schedule out at work because this horrendous app refuses to work. You’re basically expected to figure it out by trial and error, which is frustrating when it involves your actual schedule. Logging in is also unnecessarily annoying. My saved password doesn’t auto-fill—I have to go digging through my saved passwords every single time just to log in. On top of that, the app takes way longer than it should just to load, and I’ve been put in a bind multiple times waiting on it. Even worse, if I swipe away from the app for a couple minutes, it logs me out and I have to go through the entire login process all over again—which, again, is not quick or convenient. The design itself doesn’t help either. The graphics are honestly just ugly and unappealing, which makes the whole experience feel even more clunky and outdated. The biggest issue though is notifications. There’s no option for me to turn on push notifications when a new schedule is posted or when a request is approved or denied. Apparently that’s something the employer has to enable, which makes no sense. This is an app meant for employees to manage and view their schedules—why wouldn’t employees have control over something that basic? There’s also no option to set your preferred default view. I should be able to open the app and see my week summary right away instead of having to switch from summary details every single time. It’s a small thing, but it adds up when you’re using the app regularly. At this point, it’s honestly easier for me to just screenshot my schedule and check it from my photos than it is to deal with this app. That alone says everything. This time I had to sign in with my work email on the Microsoft Authenticator app to approve it. The FaceID integration is a great touch, but the entire sign-in process just feels a bit clunky due to the “session timeout” error message present most times you open the app. Calendar syncing can be a lifesaver, not needing to input every shift into my calendar app by hand. I previously wrote a review negatively discussing the calendar sync options, but this was due to an error on my end and a misunderstanding of my own calendar settings. That said, I would like a more fleshed-out option for how the calendar sync works. Android’s version provides options for which calendar to sync to, when the reminder should be, etc. Overall, this app works well for what it needs to do. It’s not a perfect experience, but it gets its job done and it’s improving along the way. **Developer response:** Hello, We apologize for the inconvenience. No way for it to be used otherwise. Edit: Response from the developer indicates that the requirement for location services is required by my particular organization and not by the app. The app works as expected and my organization has faults.
