It’s too big for my screen so im omg able to see a part of it ! Also I read the reviews .. I wanted I purchase full version however I don’t like that it’s still limited . ### 2/5 — Upgrade not worth it *2018-05-18, version 2.2.2* Disappointed in the free version because it didn’t have very many oils in the blending wheel so I paid for the upgrade only to be disappointed again that the blending options are scarce and the dilution calculator is worthless. Once in the app, the default oils are present in the wheel. Oil choices are very limited without upgrading. So the creator can contact you directly and ask for feedback. Rather noble but annoying. This is not a self explanatory app and it is not intuitive to use, it is not beginner friendly. If ur simply looking for oil recipes, this is not the app... there are over 30 oils on here. I have 8... why would anyone possess that many oils ? No idea. Unless ur some sort of expert, diehard or guru. This is absolutely an app for specialists. I was just looking for some basic feel good mixes that will make my room smell noce. This app is not helpful in that sense. Try google, bunch of different recipes pop up as soon as u hit enter, good ones too, tired and proven!!! I answered the email when the creator asked for my opinion. I said something much like the above. When the creator wrote back to me, she said my opinion was wrong and wrote a page long note about how her app was user and beginner friendly.... yah okay... i work for a tech company and we produce apps. I am a beginner at this stuff and trust me it is not user or beginner friendly. Makes no sense to anyone who is new to essential oils my guess is even intermediate user will be like,"i have no idea whats going on here." Why would the creator ask for advice if she is just going to try and prove my opinion wrong??? Its an opinion... if you don't want extra junk mail in your personal email, and you are looking for an easy to use simple app with recipes that are fun and smell good, trust me this is not the place. ### 2/5 — Not great *2017-01-27, version 1.2.0* Its more of a silly toy to get you to buy their products. There are hardly any conditions to choose from. Then each time you choose an oil the wheel spins away again and you get random choices. I don't believe this app to be accurate in any way to appropriate blending. Deleting. ### 1/5 — Dissappointing *2016-11-09, version 1.2.0* Definitely not for a beginner. Not very helpful in explaining what a blend is for, or how to dilute, and you cant save things for what there intended for. It just allows you to pick oils from a wheel then displays generic warnings. Sweet Orange is not even in the list! The only useful feature I use on the go is the dilution calculator. Upgrading is a total ripoff. It’s limited but functional. Not even a week later frozen on LOADING vs. 2.2.2. No proper search bar. No note-taking facility. Only 60 oils, and 45 listed ailments. Why is “allergy” not listed, and since when was “joy” a condition that needs treating? The default list of oils (if you choose not to customise them) precludes certain listed conditions from being addressed (these are indicated with an asterisk). One of these is the common cold. Another is insomnia. These are probably two of the most common conditions that users might want to treat. So why not include the relevant oils for these conditions in the default list? It’s fine if you want a quick suggestion for a blend, and it’s quite fun to watch the spinning wheel, but there are plenty of free apps with more oils, more listed treatments or uses and a load more info. In short, this one a frustratingly limited app that I wish I hadn’t paid for. ### 1/5 — Disappointing. *2019-03-23, version 2.2.2* UPDATE- RIPPED OFF. I took a chance and paid for the upgrade. I still found this app limited in the number of oils available, as opposed to the number commercially available. If you want a comprehensive reference, you’ll never be satisfied with this app. however, my main & most important complaint is that this horrible app signed me out and somehow, there’s no “restore purchase” link anywhere. what is there to be seen, is HORRIBLY buggy. The home screen looks normal, but leave that screen and you’ll find the next one isn’t formatted properly, meaning you can only see 1/4th of the screen and there’s no ability to scroll. This app is barely functional. the only thing that kind-of works, is the dilution calculator... and even that is noticeably buggy. DOWNLOAD SOMETHING ELSE. ——————————————————- OLD REVIEW: I’ve been using essential oils a lot lately, but as much as I want to love this app, it’s fallen short. for example and to start with, I have a fairly large collection of oils. I’d like to customize the app to include all the oils I own... but the app only allows me to select 14 oils. Once I’ve selected my 14 oils... if I decide to search by “condition”, the “conditions” available to choose from seem sparse, a few even seem ridiculous. For example, there’s a condition called “masculine” next to the more understandable conditions of “anxiety”, “common cold”, “fatigue” and “headache”. How is masculinity a condition to treat?! The saved oils section only allows me to save oils I was previously selected, so if I want to save a recipe for an oil the app didn’t allow me to select, too bad... I’ll have to actually memorize it. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Extremely Accessible *2020-01-27, version 2.2.2* It says something that I love and use this app often enough I feel it deserves a review. I purchased the full version as it was about as much as I would expect to pay for an app like this, and it works really well. It’s not information heavy or comprehensive by any means, but for an intro app to help you blends and have quick reference for what notes and scents will work well together, this is just amazingly handy. That this feature is integrated with notes on the holistic uses of the oils mean I don’t need to look anywhere else to blend a simple mix to put in a diffuser, so my use of essential oils has been stress free and extremely rewarding. Thank you for providing such a wonderful little app, I’m sure I’ll be using it for a while to come. ### 5/5 — Very good *2017-05-26, version 2.0.10* Very useful app. Many oils and neat design. I will recommend. Love the new oils and dilution calculator. ### 5/5 — Awesome *2017-02-26, version 1.2.0* This application is an excellent starting point. I got blending EOs because I heard some were good for pain reduction or inflammation. My mum has terminal cancer and is continually in pain, so you reach a point where you try what you can. It provides us both with a positive aroma and a calming experience. However, it turns out I wasn't always following safety precautions, even though I thought I was being cautious. It also turns out I probably could've been blending much more effectively by using high notes, mid notes and low notes. This app makes it really easy to get the right oils for the right job!! It also helps for substitution. I have a lot more respect for the oils and a lot to learn but this is an amazing go-to for beginners :)! I like how you can input the oils you currently have and it recommends blends accordingly. Wish you would include a larger selection of oils in the picklist. Mar 2020: I had upgraded this app to premium a while ago. I was using an ipad then. Now when I try to access the app on my new phone it gives me no option to restore purchases. Clicking on the “premium” button just zooms into the page and I cannot do anything else but quit the app. Please get this fixed. ### 4/5 — Endless “recipe” possibilities *2018-12-27, version 2.2.2* I was looking for an app that will tell me a lot of combinations rather than just a few recipes that seem to favor a few oils liked by the creator. This app will do that so you don’t have to flip through pages only to find a recipe that doesn’t fit your oils, or even worse, google your oils and get answers from an unreliable source. It seems the combinations are endless and you quickly get many combinations you can use, which is what I was looking for. The information about the oils in the premium version is short and simple, which is nice for reference. You can also start with a condition and the wheel will be populated with the oils you have that are recommended for that condition, which I think should help those, who are new to essential oils. It would be nice to see the following expansions: 1) more than 60 oils to choose from, 2) more oils to choose at the same time. I have more than 6 base ones, for example, and I would like to add more middle notes. Instead, what you have to do is first customize your oils and only then go to the “condition” wheel so that it’s populated with the oils you have for that condition. A bit of a hassle. 3) allow saved blends to be searchable, 4) I already noticed that at least in some of the conditions the wheels always default to recommending the same next oil no matter what you start with, or how recklessly you pick the next one, which looks to me like a glitch. For example, in the “emotional exhaustion,” the wheels always default to Frankincense, Helichrysum, and Lemon. So I’m not confident in these blends. Still, this is much better than other apps out there, and has great potential to be perfect. ### 4/5 — Wonderful *2017-10-12, version 2.0.10* This app is very easy to use with lots of sensible advice, it is invaluable to me and the customer service is second to none! ### 3/5 — Lovely app but no blending recipes *2017-08-26, version 2.0.10* I do like this app a lot it is a great go to for choosing which oils to use for a particular ailment eg stress, nausea however when I upgraded I absolutely expected some blending recipes (eg amounts to diffuse, add to carrier oil) but there were none. ### 2/5 — New user issues *2019-12-04* Just loaded app and went through blends by use and screen going to a large size can see it asks if you want to upgrade but can’t move screen to accept or decline.
