## What is Estim8 Pro?

Estim8 Pro is the AI takeoff and estimating app for contractors who need a number today. Snap the plans or describe the job out loud, and get a priced takeoff with materials, labor, overhead and profit built in — in minutes, on your phone. Then send it as a proposal and get paid, without leaving the app.

PLAN TAKEOFFS FROM A PHOTO OR PDF
• Snap a photo of a plan sheet or upload the full multi-page PDF
• Estim8 reads the sheet index, dimensions, and window, door and framing schedules
• Quantities are counted across every page and grouped by assembly
• Anything the AI had to assume is flagged for your review — you approve every number

MEET SUPE — YOUR AI ESTIMATOR
No plans? No problem. Tell Supe the job the way you'd tell your foreman: "twelve by fourteen kitchen remodel, mid-grade finishes, new cabinets, tile floor, paint." Supe builds the estimate with you — materials, labor, cost breakdown by trade — and prices it to your area. Standing in the driveway with a homeowner who wants a quote? Priced before you're back in the truck.

ASSEMBLIES FOR EVERY TRADE
Estim8 knows that drywall comes with mud, tape and corner bead, and plumbing comes with rough-in, fixtures and trim. Foundation, framing, envelope, interior partitions, floors, roof, openings, MEP allowances, finishes and site work — the forty-dollar line items are on the list before you look.

MARGIN BUILT IN
20% overhead and profit and 10% contingency on every estimate by default. Adjust the number; don't rebuild the estimate. Regional material and labor pricing, not a national average.

BID, SIGN, GET PAID
• Turn the estimate into a proposal and send it — your customer reviews and accepts it from their phone, no account and no app
• An accepted proposal becomes a job with a schedule of values, scaled to the amount they agreed to
• Bill the deposit on acceptance, then bill by percent complete as the work earns it
• Your customer pays by card or bank transfer, and the money lands in your own Stripe account
• One ledger per job: what's paid, what's outstanding, and every deposit and draw in order
• Estim8 Pro adds a 1% platform fee per payment; Stripe's own processing fees apply

EXPORT AND BID
Export a clean PDF estimate or an Excel/CSV material list. Send it to the customer, the supplier, or drop it into your estimating software.

BUILT FOR
• General contractors and remodelers
• Framers, drywall, painting, flooring, tile, roofing and other trade subcontractors
• Handymen and small crews pricing residential work
• Estimators who want a faster first pass

TRY IT FREE
One full plan takeoff (up to 25 pages) or three conversations with Supe — no card required. Then Starter (300 pages/month) or Pro (700 pages/month), with 100-page top-ups when you need them. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be managed in your Apple ID settings.

### 5/5 — Estim8 Pro review

*2026-09-01*

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Estim8 Pro is an incredible tool!

My background is in construction and flipping houses, so I have a good understanding of projects, costs, and working with contractors. I recently used SUPE through Estim8 Pro for a concrete project I’m working on, and I was seriously impressed.

I spent maybe 20 seconds giving SUPE the basic measurements and an overview of the project. From that little bit of information, she came back with a complete material list, detailed cost breakdown, estimated contractor costs, and an expected price range of $2,700–$4,485.

Here’s the impressive part: I had two actual contractors quote the project, and their bids came in at $3,500 and $3,100 — both right inside SUPE’s estimated price range!

But Estim8 Pro did much more than just estimate the cost. SUPE actually educated me on how the project should be completed. It explained what I should be looking for throughout the job, including proper compaction, the amount of concrete and rebar needed, using 4,000 PSI concrete, and making sure the concrete is poured to the proper 4-inch depth.

Basically, Estim8 walked me through the entire process and gave me enough information to understand what each phase of the job should look like. Even with my background in construction and flipping homes, having all of this information laid out so quickly and clearly is incredibly valuable. It gives you the knowledge to ask the right questions, evaluate contractor bids, and know what to look for as the work progresses.

On this one project alone, Estim8 Pro could potentially save me thousands of dollars by helping me understand what the job should actually cost and protecting me from overpriced bids. Even more valuable, it educates you throughout the process so you can make informed decisions instead of simply relying on what a contractor tells you.

Highly recommend Estim8 Pro!

**Developer response:** Trofe - thank you. This is the most useful review we could have received, because you ran the one test that actually matters: you checked Supe's range against two real contractor bids. $3,500 and $3,100 against an estimate of $2,700-$4,485 is the result we build for, and it means more to us than any feature request.

The part you noticed about Supe explaining compaction, PSI and pour depth isn't incidental. Knowing what a job should cost is only half of what protects you - knowing what it should look like while it's being built is the other half.

If you hit a scope where Supe does poorly, tell us at justin@dvcapps.ai. That feedback is what moves the estimating engine.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.8 — 2026-10-15

Fixes a bug where subscribers were shown the upgrade screen when signing in, even with an active Pro or Business plan. Your subscription is now recognised immediately on sign-in, and when switching between accounts.

### 1.3.7 — 2026-10-14

Change orders now read like contract documents.

• Every line carries its CSI division and its measured quantity — 216 sf of pavers, not just a dollar amount.

• The change-order PDF no longer truncates. It used to print six items and cut the rest to "+ 47 more," which also pushed the signature block off the page. Page 1 now carries a Cost by Division roll-up, and the full itemized breakdown gets its own pages with the quantity beside each item.

• A signed change order shows its amended scope by division right on the job screen, with the items one tap below. Drafts don't — a draft isn't contract scope.

• Divisions are now classified from the sheet a line was read off, not from its wording, so 3/4-inch plywood sheathing lands in roof deck or subfloor depending on the plan it came from. Division 05 Metals and general conditions are estimated on structural steel buildings instead of coming back at zero.

Proposals now ask who you're sending to.

• Homeowner, or business — a GC, developer, property manager, or tenant fit-out. The test is who you're contracting with, not what you're building: a developer's housing tract is residential work with a business counterparty.

• Homeowner proposals and change orders need a job-site address before they can be sent. Deposit limits and state contract riders are set by where the work happens, and the address is the only thing that tells us the jurisdiction. Business sends aren't gated.

Also in this release: proposals, change orders and the e-sign sheet are now fully translated in all eleven languages, including the deposit and retainage labels on the documents themselves.

### 1.3.5 — 2026-10-07

Job site address on every estimate
Add the property address to a takeoff, including the state. Your proposal then carries the right statutory disclosures for that jurisdiction automatically.

Your licence and business details on proposals
Add your business address, phone and licence number in Account — they now print on the documents you send. New accounts need a licence number before generating a proposal; existing accounts are unaffected.

Cleaner subcontractor bids
Consumer disclosures no longer appear on a bid you send to a general contractor. They belong on a homeowner contract, not on your bid to a GC.

Itemised change orders
Change order lines now carry quantity, unit and CSI division, so a change order breaks down and prices the same way the original estimate does.

Better estimate names
Supe names the work instead of using your whole prompt as the title.

Plus fixes to trade classification.

### 1.3.4 — 2026-10-05

Change orders, priced by Supe.

• Describe a change in plain words. Supe scopes it, prices it into a range, and the items join your schedule of values and contract amount.
• Change orders now state contract time on the signed document — days added to the schedule, or "no change" either way.
• New trades: mold remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, termite treatment, and water mitigation.

Fixes
• Rate Us now opens the App Store so you can actually write a review.
• The bottom tab bar no longer breaks apart at larger text sizes.
• About shows the version you are actually running.
• Removing a line item while offline no longer loses it silently.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-10-02

Fixes an issue that prevented subscription options from loading on the plan screen. Subscribing and restoring purchases now work normally.
