## What is eSurgibook?

eSurgibook is the modern surgical logbook — a private, offline-first record of every operation,
  conference, audit, publication, and training in your career, with one-tap PDF exports for revalidation
  and appraisal.
  
  Built for surgeons, postgraduate students, and the mentors who verify their work. Capture entries in
  theatre with no connectivity. Sync them home when you're back online. Read them years later as the long
  chapters of your practice.
  
  WHAT'S INSIDE

  • OPERATIONS — A three-chapter form (patient · procedure · reflections). Patient identifiers stay as
  initials only, and your optional hospital ID stays on-device. Pick from a curated list of surgical
  operation names or add your own. Attach pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative photos with
  one tap. Record the surgical team, anaesthesia, complications, and learning points.
  
  • CPD ACTIVITIES — Conferences, audits, publications, and trainings, each with their own editorial form.
   Track CPD points, awards, the verification trail, learning points, and certificates — everything you'll
   need at revalidation or appraisal.
  
  • MENTOR VERIFICATION — Send a mentorship request to a senior. Mentors review your entries, leave
  structured comments, and attest with their name and the timestamp. Every verification is dated, signed,
  and irrevocable — a built-in audit trail that holds up at any college submission.

  • MAGAZINE LAYOUT — Your logbook reads like an editorial publication. Entries group into month chapters
  with a serif chapter heading and day-column numerals so the timeline of your work is visible at a
  glance. No spreadsheet feel. No corporate stiffness.

  • OFFLINE-FIRST SYNC — Capture entries with no connectivity. Theatre Wi-Fi never works anyway.
  eSurgibook stores everything locally first and syncs in the background when you're connected.
  • FACE ID, TOUCH ID, PASSKEYS — Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID on iPhone. Your password is never
  stored on the device. The refresh token lives in the Keychain under biometric-protected ACL, so even a
  stolen unlocked phone won't surrender your logbook.
