The standard Fast Etax Return is just AU$87.49. Additional fees apply for more complex returns, business schedules, or the fee-from-refund payment option.

### 2/5 — This has got to be the laziest update ever

This new update is little more than a webview in a wrapper. They would’ve been better off ditching the app altogether and telling users to just use the mobile website. 

This isn’t a native app, it is a web browser that can only browser one website. 

If Etax paid a consultant for this, I would urge them to get their money back. They’ve been taken for a ride.

You're right that the update is more of a copy of the Etax website. We made the web and app experience more consistent, enabled biometric logins which is a big upgrade in convenience, and made the whole thing more secure, which is very important. Ultimately, we want to give our clients a choice - they can use the app, navigate to our website, or swap between the two (which many users do) and hopefully have a more seamless experience.

Don’t bother using Etax. They don’t even submit your deductions, they just process it on myGov.
It’s actually a scam now.

Clearly needs an update.  PIN never works. Username / password continually rejected, but miraculously works when logging into account via website.  Very frustrating experience.
