It works again now. • New name: Éter is now Eter BSky. Everything else stays the same. • Support, privacy and terms links now open the new website. ### 1.11.1 — 2026-10-01 App Review Notes — Version 1.11.1 Under-the-hood improvements and fixes to keep the app running reliably. ### 1.10.0 — 2026-09-29 - Open Bluesky profiles and posts directly in Éter. - Customize Éter with new app icons and more accent colors. - Navigate faster with five tabs, easier access to Lists and Notifications, and a collapsible sidebar on iPad and Mac. - Choose separately how sexual and graphic content is handled: hide it, show a warning, or display it. - Explore the redesigned welcome tour. - Enjoy more reliable translations, improved retries, and finer automatic-translation timing. - Éter is back on Mac with smoother navigation and a native layout. ### 1.9.0 — 2026-09-18 This release reshuffles navigation, adds a welcome flow and sharpens automatic translation. Navigation • The tab bar now has five destinations: Home, Search, Bookmarks, Likes and Profile. The "More" menu is gone. • Lists, Notifications and Settings open from the timeline header and from Bookmarks, without rebuilding the current view. • bsky.app links inside a post now open the profile or the post inside the app instead of the browser. Welcome • A new five-screen first-launch flow, with a typewriter headline and haptic feedback, explaining that this is an unofficial client, plus translation, bookmarks and moderation. It needs no account and no network. Translation • Fixed translations that stalled while scrolling the timeline, with automatic retry and real-language detection when a post is mislabelled. • Truncated links inside a translated post open correctly again. Personalisation and moderation • Choose the app icon among the butterfly and monogram variants, with more accent colours; the accent-based icons follow the colour you pick. • Sensitive content now has three modes: hide, warn before showing, or show directly. Account • App passwords can be revealed as you type them, so a long hyphenated string is no longer typed blind. Other • The new-posts pill no longer disappears after a multi-page catch-up. • A keyboard-dismiss button in Search, a larger tap target on the repost button, and more readable onboarding text on iPad. • The Mac version is back, with its own window and a native menu bar. ## Apps similar to Eter BSky | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Turiho](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/turiho/id6479214368) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Halflight Client](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/halflight-client/id6766129614) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [ConfesZ](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/confesz/id6541248711) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [SkyPhone Social](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/skyphone-social/id6754063880) | — | Free | Social Networking | | [Stickifax – nerd social](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/stickifax-nerd-social/id1502933044) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Social Networking | | [keychat.io](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/keychatio/id6447493752) | 5.0 (2) | Free | Social Networking | ## More apps by Julio Cuesta - [Colossus Social Reader](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/colossus-social-reader/id6763415646) - [Aldebaran](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/aldebaran/id6794138202) All apps by Julio Cuesta: https://appshunter.io/developer/1891424480 ## Related topics [bsky](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/bsky) · [worldnoor](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/worldnoor) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
