يستند التقويم الإسلامي إلي القمر .  وهو المعروف أيضآ بالتقويم الهجري . بدأ هذا التقويم بعد هجرة النبي-صلي الله عليه وسلم- إلي المدينة.تعتمد بداية كل شهر علي روية القمر في نهاية الشهر الذي يسبقه  . فور رؤية القمر ، يبدأ الشهر الجديد . يبدأ كل شهر  بدورة قمرية جديدة. وبالتالي ،يوفر التقويم الإسلامي لعام ٢٠١٨ نظرة عامة تقريبية للتواريخ الإسلامية القادمة لإن بداية كل شهر تعتمد علي رؤية القمر  يتكون التقي الإسلامي من ١٢ شهر مثل التقويم الميلادي . وبالرغم من ذلك،يتكون من ٣٥٥-٣٥٤يوم علي عكس التقويم الميلادي الذي يتكون من ٣٦٦-٣٦٥ يوم . تبدأ السنة الهجرية بشهر محرم يتبعة صفر ثم ربيع الأول ثم جماد الأول ثم جماد الثاني ثم رجب ثم شعبان ثم رمضان ثم شوال ثم ذو القعدة ثم ذو الحجة

منبة الأذان جداً مفيد لتذكير الصلوات و التواريخ الهجرية كلها موجودة و بالمجان  مقارنة بالتطبيقات الأخرى الذي يشترط الدفع هذا التطبيق يوفر كل المعلومات و الصلوات و التواريخ و القبلة مجاناً و بدون اي رسوم .
