esync does not work with iPad or iPhone

### 1/5 — Clunky and ineffective

*2025-05-31*

My practice has been using this app for 4 months. I have encountered problem after problem. The app shuts down randomly in the midst of documenting, does not import data smoothly, cannot use the AI tools to upload existing documents, forcing the writer to have 1-2 other platforms open to get data imported. Microphone works maybe 50% of the time and when it does, it does not clearly interpret what is being dictated. The ESync tool does not learn or modify over time. Clunky import of Diagnosis codes. Inconsistent note formatting. Constant updates are required as the IT team fixes bugs (this is what has prompted me to write this review today- was forced into yet another “update”). Frankly, some days, I use the FREE Doximity AI note writer and copy it into this platform. Also, it does not talk to Care Everywhere in EPIC or other EMR systems, so other practices cannot easily access notes and labs.

### 1/5 — Bad non customizable EHR

*2025-03-31*

The AI is practically useless and gets in the way. There is no AI or machine learning. It is very dependent on mouse clicks and glitchy in iOS. I would never use this for my own practice. And it is one of the main reasons I would quit this assignment due to inefficiency.

### 1/5 — Bad

*2024-12-06*

This is a really poor AI system. I have been using it for over 2 months. Not one single note has the AI ever performed correctly. The company tech don’t know how their own system work. In general it is not ready for wide use. The worse two problems are when the Esync system glitches and won’t complete a note and the fact that the app updates in the middle of use completing disrupting your ability to complete your encounter.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst EMR I’ve ever used

*2026-08-20*

The only thing this system is good at is eliminating the billing department and passing responsibility onto the provider. And it may be good at simplifying administrative functions clinically, however it is very inefficient, cumbersome, very tedious process to complete your notes, requiring multiple steps and revisions. The scheduling to set up an appointment and a note is also very tedious and time-consuming. It is also very difficult to navigate through and find previous notes and is just dysfunctional when it comes to trying to navigate through the patient chart with your current note open. Unfortunately, practices like it because it saves them by being more expensive than most other EMR’s out there but eliminates the billing department, ultimately saving them some money however it makes providers job much more difficult.

### 1/5 — NP

*2026-08-04*

A terrible system for clinical staff. Might save administrative types in office support staff time, but clinically a horrible and inefficient cumbersome and difficult system to use that makes charting way harder than it should be. Also, the AI is terrible.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2026-06-30*

Performance is around 75% insufficient for healthcare environment

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-06-19*

Ethizo is the worst constant glitches and problems and their IT support is useless.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-05-20*

Constant issues. Freezes. Unable to bill. Numerous errors. Worst EMR to date.

### 1/5 — Please update

*2026-04-26*

In superbill, removing excess icd code is very annoying. It’s hard to click the x and it asks another confirmation to remove icd. Make removing icd code easier please

### 1/5 — Disappointed and frustrated

*2026-04-07*

This system needs a significant overhaul to the AI. It does not appear to learn over time. The interpretation from the dictation is often poor. It is unable to pull in documents requiring providers to continue to use multiple systems to bring data over and then the AI needs to be reminded to utilize the data. Overall, it is requiring an inordinate amount of time to correct the mistakes . Great concept, however, they have not accomplished the delivery at this time. I would not recommend this system and would not use it in my private practice.

### 1/5 — Do not waste money on this

*2025-10-19*

Terrible terrible terrible. A headache to use and it is just awful.

### 1/5 — One of the worst EMR systems EVER

*2025-10-02*

Ethizo on the computer is utterly awful and makes your job more difficult and makes things take longer than it should. It’s so slow, glitchy, and often freezes, and you constantly have to exit and reboot. All the updates and changes make things even worse and does not fix the glitches. The app is no different.

### 1/5 — One of the worst for Providers

*2025-09-19*

Ethizo is one of the worst EMRs. There is very no capability to automate repetitive tasks like billing, No user defined defaults or automations are allowed. The AI features are useless. The AI should know/learn after 6 months of use that I am pulmonologist and make appropriate suggestions. Ethizo AI is not helpful and slows me down.

### 5/5 — Dr Saulat Mushtaq

*2025-12-03*

Best EMR ever, physician friendly, less clicks that epic, yes I am using epic in out patient setting and this it’s so much more efficient

### 5/5 — Efficient and intuitive

*2025-06-19*

Like all switches in EMRs, I was nervous at first. Learning a whole new system, trying to establish a new workflow, the whole process can be overwhelming and time consuming. But we are 2 months in and I can honestly say this has cut my documentation time by about 30-40%. I’m a provider rounding in nursing homes-to give context.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2023-11-15*

Finally an EMR from physicians perspective, love everything about this!

### 5/5 — Excellent in every way

*2023-11-03*

Functional, easy to use, comprehensive and with a great support team. Emr in ur hands doesn’t get better than this!

### 5/5 — Great app and company

*2020-09-16*

This is really what EMR should have been from the start. This company augments clínica practice and makes it easier whereas ‘EMR’ in the current form is nothing but a ball and chain on doctors’ ankles.

### 2/5 — Disappointed.

*2025-09-03*

Support team not supportive. To me this is the most important aspect of a service. Numbers not adding up, printout version is terrible and despite multiple attempts to correct this problem, among others, it hasn’t happened. On a positive note, dictating this way does speed things up…unfortunately there are others out there that could provide the same service.
