I can’t manage my booking or even review it from within the app. What’s the point of this app then? Etihad, you are seriously out of touch! ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-06-27, version 2.0.8* 1. Can’t use Face ID to log-in (each time I go through the e process, I come back to having to input my password anyway) 2. Can’t access my Guest number without WiFi access (isn’t the whole point so that I can give the number to the check-in agent) 3. Can’t find the number to call Etihad Guest (bought a ticket with miles and cash… regular customer service can’t help me… they also can’t transfer me… oh, I’ll get the number from the app just like Etihad app… nope!) 4. Complete joke that all of the features are actual a webpage, so you need to log-in AGAIN (didn’t I just do that to use this app) and get another OTP from your email (why does it use Face ID to use the app) This and Etihad’s main app are completely useless and a joke I would give 0 if it were an option … got fed up trying to tell the Customer Service reps about this problem, but Etihad doesn’t want REAL feedback so they prevent their agents from creating a ticket or register a complaint or raise something to their supervisor (told to me by 4 different agents over the past 6 months) My first app review in 5 years… all because of how bad these apps are. Go look at Air Canada’s app to see how it’s done. ### 1/5 — Sort out your login process *2024-04-09, version 2.0.3* Logging into this app is more complicated than logging into a banks app. Why?!?! ### 1/5 — The app is garbage *2024-04-06* After booking my tickets I got an email saying install our app for flight updates. We're here to help. ### 1/5 — Useless App *2024-01-29, version 1.1.15* This app is entirely useless. It works sometimes, and next time, it doesn’t work. Shame on Etihad Airways. They claim they are luxurious airlines. But they can’t simply make a good app. ### 1/5 — Poor App All Around *2023-11-05* Tried logging in for the first time and it took six tries (once actually being my fault). The app said the OTP was incorrect after I checked that it was correct, it froze multiple times while logging in, and loading pages take forever. The fact that this flaw has been around for over a third of a year shows how out of touch Etihad is with the day to day operations. ### 1/5 — Very poor *2022-10-02, version 1.0.24* As with other reviewers, trapped in an update loop so you can’t access it - you’d think they’d realise nobody has managed to log in to it for several months. When it was working, the app gave an entirely different mileage balance to the one shown on the main Etihad app. They should either close down this app or make it work. ### 1/5 — Lost *2022-10-02, version 1.0.24* The app does not work. Tried to open it but instead it bounced me back and forth in a vicious circle between an “update” message and the “app store”. ### 1/5 — Update failed *2022-10-01, version 1.0.24* It’s asking me to update, but when I click update on the app it brings me to the App Store and doesn’t give the option to update. Only says “Open” the app again. I have double checked before I submit and within 1 minute - nowhere near the 15 mins. Please help! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unbelievably bad *2025-09-27, version 2.0.20* This is the worst airline app I’ve ever used. It’s slow and clunky and requires a new OTP for every minor change, but half the time the OTP never arrives. It’s so bad I have to call the helpline roughly every other flight. It can’t even keep me logged in on my own phone or log me in with Face ID. It takes 2-4 minutes just to double check something as simple as my flights departure time. Sometimes I can’t even add my frequent flyer number to a flight without calling the airline. Even when I’m logged into the app and have the flight right there. They know it’s me on the flight, they know my loyalty number, but I have to enter it manually every time and to do so I need the OTP that they aren’t competent enough to even send. It’s just so unnecessarily bad I am lost for words. How can such a big airline not notice how terrible their customer interface is? Every time I use this app I consider making the 3 hr round trip to Dubai airport to avoid this disaster or an IT department. ### 1/5 — Bad unacceptable app *2025-09-27* Shocked to see this app from such a great airline !! Used it in July 2025 and would not save info and never connected to WiFi in air . Still not saving info in Sept 2025 and hope it gets better as I am travelling again in a week . Have to wonder if anyone at Etihad has actually ever tried to use it. Can’t see how much a hotel “costs” unless you actually try to book, take the app out of AED and it won’t even let look at just hotels. You can’t engage the family membership on mobile technology. It’s so unbelievably poor, it’s almost as poor as their customer service which is chronically bad. For a high level airline like this it beggars belief. I tried with 2 different adress and it doesn’t recognise me. Sure the new rewards scheme is terrible but the app works as it should at least. ### 4/5 — Need feature to add rewards card to Apple Wallet *2024-03-17* I use Apple Wallet to track all the loyalty cards I have from other airlines. Since Etihad Guest does not have that feature, I end up just forgetting about Etihad completely. Feedback: 1. Please create an app icon as stylish as the entire user interface. The icon does not do justice to all the effort put into the user experience inside. 2. When entering the OTP, switch to the numeric keyboard instead of leaving the keyboard as is, requiring the user to manually switch and enter the numbers. **3. In Offers>Latest Offers - resize images of retailers to fit the thumbnail size. Currently it’s stretched to actual size and many images are not recognisable. Also, maybe set the dimensions of each offer block to twice it’s length instead of squares because the text is crammed up and covers majority of the icon. ( to make the offers section look similar to My Cards>Payment Cards. Keeps a consistent experience) ### 2/5 — App keeps giving me a duplication error *2021-02-26, version 1.0.8* When this app was launched it was excellent, but with each update the errors kept increasing.
