Managing a residential building is already a lot of work. Getting every resident to install another app shouldn’t be the first challenge. With Ettihad, a manager can start organizing everything alone—even if no residents have joined yet. Create units and resident records, track dues, credit balances, expenses, and payment history, then share clear updates or payment links directly with residents. Through a shared link, a resident can see what is due, view the building’s payment details, and submit payment proof without creating an account. Ettihad keeps everything organized while payments continue directly between residents and the building. If a resident decides to join later, simply connect their account to the existing unit. Their relevant balance and recorded unit history will already be there, so nobody has to start again. Meet Fary—one of the experiences we are proudest to have built. Fary is not a chatbot sitting beside your work; it is woven into Ettihad itself. It also supports compounds and other residential communities that need the same tools across more units and members. Ettihad displays the building’s payment-method details and helps managers review payment proof, but it does not process payments, hold funds, transfer money, provide loans, or offer banking services. Residents pay their building or community directly outside the app, and Ettihad helps organize the records. When Fary drafts a proposal, the confirmation card now lets you change the estimated cost and voting deadline too — not just the title and description. Available to managers and residents. Clearer invitation messages. Invite links now come with a short intro and simple guidance so people can join even if they don't have the app yet ("Install it, sign up, then tap the link again"). We also made the difference between personal links (each person joins straight onto the unit you set) and one shared link (join by request) much easier to understand. ### 1.2.4 — 2026-09-08 What's new • Fary, your community co-manager, can now suggest next steps you can tap to keep things moving. • Managers get a clearer home screen with a quick-start guide and one-tap finance shortcuts. • Smarter payment review — managers see a helpful summary when checking a receipt, and duplicate receipts are flagged automatically. • Resident payment submissions now always wait for manager review. • Photos, receipts and profile pictures load faster and use less memory. • Stability and reliability fixes across chat, sign-in and media playback. Management can publish selected issues on the community board for neighbours to support. • Join with an invite link: paste an invite link or WhatsApp message on the sign-in or home screen to join. Pending join requests now show their status. • Fixes: better large-text layouts, faster statement sharing, stability improvements. ### 1.1.7 — 2026-09-03 Excluding a unit from an expense now keeps the total and splits it over the remaining units, with a live per-unit preview. Edit vacant units, choose the language of shared statement images, search dues by resident name, and see "Manager Marked" on dues you marked paid.
