### 3/5 — Partners

*2026-07-03*

Partner play needs work!

**Developer response:** We are working on improvements. Thank you for your review.

### 2/5 — Non realistic gameplay

*2026-05-04*

The AI does a horrible job making bets and deciding gameplay. Too many hands occur where the computer opts to play alone (either your partner or your opponents) and will get Euchred because they didn’t have the cards. Furthermore the bidding makes no sense as some hands they’ll bid with weak hands and other hands bid with nothing. The Devs need to fix this as their other game works just fine.

**Developer response:** The AI uses an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation to determine the bids and plays. We have tuned it to be aggressive by default. Our simulation showed that being aggressive resulted in the best overall play. You can adjust this in settings. We are continuing to work on improvements Thank you for your review.

### 2/5 — My opponent seems to know what’s in my hand.

*2024-11-23, version 2.50*

I like this Eucher game App much better than the others I’ve tried. The level 6 play isn’t bad. But, I’ve accidentally uncovered what seems to be a, hopefully, unintended sharing of information to my opponent. I was the dealer and making trump passed to me. After accepting I had 3 trump, king and 10 of clubs and the ace of spades. I discarded the ace to make myself 2 suited. The player to my left lead a club and his partner trumped in to take the hand. Out of curiosity I replayed the hand and discarded the 10 of clubs instead. This time the left player lead a queen of diamonds instead of the club. How can what I discard affect the player to my left’s lead? Update: Did you ever want to change to a smarter partner? In a recent hand North made hearts Trump by accepting the right bower. This, it turns out, was the only heart in its hand on top of being 4 suited without a single ace. My grandfather would have never played with me again if I did something this stupid.

Update 11/23/2024:
After not using this app for quite a while I recently played this game again. It hasn’t gotten better. I’ve had multiple instances of my brain-dead partner trumping a hand I had already won. Again, grandpa would not have approved.

### 3/5 — Good mechanics

*2024-10-12, version 2.40*

The underlying mechanics of this euchre game are good. I haven’t seen any stupid plays by either my partner or opponents. The Trump selection is logical, and play sequence is believable and makes sense.

There are lots of rule customization options, so you can definitely configure this game to your preferred house rules.

The problem with the game is the graphic layout and flow. You have to pause and read the info in the top corners in order to understand what’s going on. Trump calls are not obvious, and generally leads to misinterpretation on a regular basis if you’re only glancing quickly.

### 2/5 — Your partner hasn’t got a clue.

*2024-10-07, version 2.40*

The north player makes trump on K,Q, 10 then leads the K! When I make Diamonds, he holds the Jack until the final trick- although he could have taken an earlier trick with it. I agree with the previous reviewer - brain of a marshmallow. On top of that, East-West frequently calls loan hands, and makes it!

### 3/5 — App is fine

*2024-10-03*

Euchre is boring

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. We are working on improvements.

### 2/5 — Your partner hasn’t got a clue.

*2024-09-06*

### 2/5 — Ok…. But

*2024-06-24*

Nice game to pass the time though, the more you play the more you see the AI make some courageous calls which just happen to be well supported by the opposing AI partners cards. 🧐

### 3/5 — Opponent calls trump

*2024-05-21*

I like this game except every hand the East/West team calls trump. Your algorithm needs updated to allow more variety in who can call trump. After playing for a couple days, I deleted it because it wasn’t fun rarely getting to call trump.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. The AI is by default quite aggressive in calling trump. We use a Monte Carlo Simulation AI to determine when the AI call trump. We may have to reduce the default aggressiveness. Our default is the level 3 AI. You may play on level 1 or 2 for a less aggressive AI. You may also reduce the AI bidding aggressiveness in settings.

### 2/5 — Euchre

*2024-05-01, version 2.10*

I think the game is rigged.

### 2/5 — Great Look, Bad AI

*2024-01-03*

(Note: my gameplay comments are on the "6", or hardest setting) Great looking interface, smooth playing. Issue is the computer / AI play: AI "dealer" will accept face up trump on 95% of the deals, whether it and partner can make 3 tricks or not. Same with "called" trump on the few times all 4 reject initial trump. "Go alone" AI plays rarely claim even 3 tricks, forget about taking all 5. Easily beatable AI 100% of the time. If you're looking for a slick interface, this for you; if youwsnt a challenging game, this is a miss. Download "Super Euchre" instead.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. We have updated the AI to make improvements. The AI does bid pretty aggressively by default. We find this provides the strongest play. Please see settings to reduce the AI bidding aggressiveness.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-06-12*

The game itself is fine, you can’t close ads you have to reset the entire game

**Developer response:** We apologize for the bad ad. We are working on removing the bad ads and improving the ad-based experience. We offer an in-app purchase to remove ads. Please see Main Screen - Menu - Purchase Remove Ads if you are interested. Thank you for your review.

### 1/5 — Ads galore

*2026-05-14*

Be fun to play if I didn’t have an ad after every single hand. Which means an ad every minute or so. Pure greed.

**Developer response:** We are working on improving the ad-based experience. We offer an in-app purchase to remove ads. Please see Main Screen - Menu - Purchase Remove Ads if you are interested. Thank you for your review.

### 1/5 — No.

*2025-09-14, version 2.80*

The ads make this game unplayable. Nice try.

### 1/5 — Non random deals

*2025-06-18*

Playing South for three full games and played zero hands. E/W took the vast majority and North took a few.
E/W play at least one loner per game.
Kind of like why bother playing

**Developer response:** The AI bids quite aggressively by default. Please try playing on level 1 for more relaxing games. Also, in Settings you can adjust the bidding aggressiveness too. Thank you for your review.

### 1/5 — Cheats

*2025-01-16, version 2.50*

Computer knows what partner has and bids according

### 1/5 — One sided

*2024-05-29*

This is got to be the most one sided euchre game I’ve played. The opposing team is constantly calling Trump and the plays my computer partner makes doesn’t make any sense at all. Why would you Trump me when you don’t need to? The developers need to go back and make some updates to the program.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. The deals are not biased to any seat. By default the AI is quite aggressive at level 3. You can reduce the aggressiveness in Settings. Levels 1 and 2 also have a less aggressive AI. When you see a bad play, if possible, please send us a screenshot of Menu - Play Log when the hand is over to support@neuralplay.com. We are working on AI improvements.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2024-02-26*

The computer makes poor choices that a novice would make.
Adds after nearly every hand.
I would rather rub sand in my eyes than play euchre with this app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. We are updating the AI to make improvements.

### 2/5 — Bad partner

*2026-07-16*

It’s hard to play when it’s 3 against 1

**Developer response:** The AI uses an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation to determine the bids and plays. We have tuned it to be aggressive by default. You can adjust this in settings. We also play on level 1 for more relaxing games. We are working on improvements. Thank you for your review.

### 2/5 — Ai

*2026-07-05*

AI opponents constantly get jacks up on deals and my partner constantly gets euchred. Definitely rigged.

**Developer response:** The AI uses an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation to determine the bids and plays. We have tuned it to be aggressive by default. You can adjust this in settings. We are continuing to work on improvements. Thank you for your review.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Euchre expert AI

*2025-09-06*

This reminds me of the old games where you could never beat the computer because that’s all it is you might be able to beat them once or twice here and there, but now whoever designed this has serious control issues despicable

**Developer response:** The AI uses an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation method. This can be challenging at the higher levels. We play at level 1 for more relaxing games. Thank you for your review.

### 5/5 — Dave

*2025-05-24, version 2.61*

I really like that the adds are so short!!!

### 5/5 — Learn & Understand Euchre

*2024-05-23*

Really like the rapid & many games of play that makes me a better euchre player. Very few interruptions for a free game.

**Developer response:** Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Euchre. Thank you for your review.

### 5/5 — Euchre ai

*2024-05-21*

I enjoy this game but statistically there is absolutely no way that any team would get as many bowers as your up card as the East/ west team. 4-1 easily over opponents(me) in any given game. I think it’s interesting that that’s a statistic that You don’t follow.

**Developer response:** Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Euchre. Thank you for your review. The deals are not biased to any seat. Nice idea to add up card bowers statistic. We will look into this.

### 5/5 — Learn & Understand Euchre

*2024-05-17*

Really like the rapid & many games of play that makesa better euchre player. Very few interruptions for a free game.

### 5/5 — Great Euchre App

*2024-05-03*

Would love a feature where the user is allowed to renege by mistake and East/West can catch it. Reneges should be worth two points to East/West.

**Developer response:** Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Euchre. Thank you for your review. Interesting idea to make the game more realistic. We will look into allowing reneges.

### 5/5 — Just like IRL

*2023-02-21*

Plays the same, customizable, the same competitiveness as humans
Good version of Euchre for your device

**Developer response:** Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Euchre. Thank you for your review.

### 4/5 — bots have gotten worse

*2025-08-18*

they no longer lead trump in obvious marching situations. i have ti rewind the hand to play accordingly. something has happened to them the past couple of updates

### 4/5 — Too many ads

*2024-09-30*

This would be a great app however it’s literally like after every hand of Euchre there is an ad that you have to first skip after maybe five or 10 seconds and then you have to skip it again and I’m finding the case with most of these game apps

**Developer response:** We are working on improving the ad-based experience. We offer an in-app purchase to remove ads, please see Main Screen - Menu - Purchase Remove Ads if you are interested. Thank you for your review.

**Developer response:** Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Euchre. Thank you for your review.

The AI uses an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation to determine the bids and plays. You may not see the same bid or play when you replay the hand since the simulation uses randomness. Roughly, it deals the unknown cards out and plays the hand to the end to get a result for each legal play. This is repeated many times and an average result for each play is calculated. The play with the best average result is chosen.

Note: Levels 4+ use the random Monte Carlo Simulation for the plays. At this time, level 3 has human designed rules for the play, the play will be the same if you replay on level 3.

I hope this explanation helps. Please contact us at support@neuralplay.com for additional details.
