This app has some issues. The boys play cards that “don’t make sense…” also after everyone passes, it allows the bot to call the suit that was turned down. Game glitches out when calling partners best, so I have an awesome hand I can’t play. Love playing euchre, this app just isn’t quite the real thing. ### 2/5 — Not sour grapes *2023-02-28* The best hands go to the opposite team. Maybe make the odds a little higher. Also, I can’t figure out why when the turned over card gets passed on by everyone, the opposing team gets to still choose that suit. I do enjoy the game and have become much better at it with the experience. I think there should be more options to pick difficulty levels. This is frustrating for the losers! Also, when you have the opportunity to pass or play the suit presented and all four pass, the next person gets to pick the suit and he picks the suit that was offered prior. I have detected errors where one person should play the suit that was led but does not. The next go around the person lays the suit that should have been played. Very odd. The bots will call something trump when it was almost impossible to succeed. A bot once went alone and lost all five tricks! ### 3/5 — Annoying easy fix *2022-06-30, version 1.51* This game is pretty fun, but there is this really annoying problem that gets pretty frustrating when I play with bots. Whenever the entire table checks, the bots can still call the suit that was flipped. For example, if there is a jack of clubs on the table but everyone calls and it gets flipped into the discard pile, the bot can still call clubs as trump, but I can’t. Example, dealer turns down the Jack of Spades, next player to the left calls Spades trump! As far as I can tell, the whole game has to be with friends, rather than just a friend as a partner. Cards need detail cant tell suit because cards cover the corners. When you go back to the existing game, it just kicks you out immediately. You have to start a new game. Say West has a Queen of hearts up. Your partner (north) passes. Suddenly the East opponent decides trump is spades without it going round the players. This is NOT how the game is played. For me, the bot play is too fast. Often I’m told to play a card or select a trump suit before I’ve even examined my hand. Just program a few seconds of pause in between bot actions to more accurately mimic normal human gameplay. In normal play (not stick the dealer) in bot mode, I’ve crashed the game when not selecting a trump suit as dealer. The game just halts. Otherwise, this is the best iOS euchre app I’ve used.
