This suggests the issue is related to the mobile app device registration or compatibility with newer iPhone/iOS 26.5 versions rather than the phone number or SMS service itself. Order a new card. Try again “ ### 2/5 — Validation for new phone *2025-01-14, version 2.35.0* This is the worst app I’ve ever used. To activate it on my new iPhone, I had to go through ten circles of hell. First, I had to dig up an old bank ID that’s that I never use instead of my email. Then, I had to talk to managers, who told me to open the app on a computer to find a PIN code. But the PIN I had entered earlier was correct, so I don’t understand why I was sent there in the first place. After that, I had to call back, explain everything again, and only then was I told, “Now you can make transfers in the app.” I’m sorry, but this process was extremely frustrating. It took one hour of my life and a lot of headaches. I’ve never faced such issues before, and that’s probably why I’m so upset. It was ten times easier with other banks. Please, analyse validation system at Revolut for example. But I think it’s important for you to know this. Needs authorization with bank to work - you don’t have to do it via browser 2. Requires you to buy a new phone because the user doesn’t have latest OS - worjs in browser. Question is - why in the world did hellenic do an app that is in every way worse or incomparable to it’s web counterpart? I was able to add my card to Apple Pay even before I received the card. I can freeze the card and have the ability to have more control over my account then with other banking apps. It costs 1.50 for even a basic account. But that is nothing and worth it. Glad I moved from the alpha bank to Hellenic:) Next I will upgrade my card to the 38 euro one. It makes sense why they don’t really take care of the online banking website.
