As a Lord Roads then Eurowag. Was like this app until everything disappeared and to unblock You need to pay 80£. Sorry but it’s not fair for users to tread them like that. If You wanna pay let us choose, but You suppose to left free app as well ### 2/5 — Une honte *2026-08-13* J’ai installer ce GPS quand il était gratuit, il faisait amplement le travail, mais pour 80 euros par an c’est beaucoup trop cher, pour un GPS qui signale que quelque les radars, qui a une carte qui n’est pas mise à jour, des interdiction poid lourd fictive et un système sons avec énormément de problèmes. Used to be free earlier but with latest update you forced to try premium for 14 days and then they ask for whopping £79/year, yes every year ! No chance to use without paying not even without premium features. As a free app was absolutely fantastic for truckers, but now for that price… is too much money, there is a better satnav out there. Greedy app developers!! After a year of using this great app you now have to pay for the privilege of having premium access in which was free before! Dunno what you will get if you don’t pay for the privilege of £80? Probably poi of fish n chip shops. But why? Why follow TomTom with their truck charge of the same? I must say their app is a lot more up to date with this one. Though I’m not subscribed to TomTom app. Your app if you r going to charge for using it needs a lot of sorting out with locations and roads. Sometimes your app will try and send me through weight restrictions etc. not the exception for access but no vehicle of mgw! So if I have to pay to continue to use this app then bye bye and thanks for all the fish! 🐟 ### 4/5 — Probleme mit Einstellungen *2026-07-26* Leider kann ich die Einstellungen nicht mehr öffnen und zum Beispiel das Profil meines Lkw nicht ändern. Früher hat alles funktioniert, aber jetzt nicht mehr. Ich kann überhaupt keine Einstellungen mehr vornehmen. Ansonsten war ich mit der App eigentlich zufrieden. Bitte beheben Sie das Problem, damit der Zugriff auf die Einstellungen wieder funktioniert. Unfortunately it seems they are now making you pay £80 a year for something that definitely isn’t amazing often takes you down roads that are far too tight(uk) and not always the best route. I’m very disappointed about this as I’d found it was good enough but doesn’t compare to tomtom ect. Vielen Dank für die Info ### 3/5 — Vla les détours pour rien. *2026-06-05* Je comprends pas les avis qui disent qu’ils n’ont jamais de soucis. Normalement un gps PL te fait faire des détours pour éviter les zones de restrictions mais celui la, il te fait contourner des zones sans restrictions particulières. Il me fait aller dans des endroits interdits. Pourtant j’ai bien indiqué la hauteur, la longueur et le poids du camion. Il faut l’améliorer pck il est loin d’être opérationnel. ### 3/5 — Every route violates my Vehicle dimensions? *2026-05-14* I believe this app has a future but for me right now it’s not working. Every route calculated comes up with a pop up saying “This route violates your vehicle settings” (not verbatim). But offers no alternative? Hopeful for future upgrades ### 3/5 — Routes to and from a different *2026-05-10* Its free so its automatically good but i cant rely on it because it sends my 18T down side streets instead of staying on the main road, just to get to the same place. All settings look correct but it still insists on sending me through housing estates “turn right turn left turn right” when I can just stay on the main road. What’s that all about. I use it with google maps, Eurowag to get closer and to avoid bridges and tunnels Etc then swap over to google maps when I’m a mile out (and know the area) Could be better ### 4/5 — Kostenlos, solide Basis, jedoch einige Bugs *2026-04-30* Pro: -Es kostet nichts, das ist sehr löblich und selten. -Man kann sogar Profile für Elektro LKW anlegen. -Blitzerwarner -Gewichtsbeschränkung -Mehrfache Ansagen zur Navigation -individuelles Tempolimit einstellbar für Fahrzeuge -Rastplätze, Parkplätze, Tankstellen usw. Werden einem während der Fahrt mit eintfernungsangaben angezeigt. Kontra: Der PKW Modus kürzt häufig über Autobahn Zu/Abfahrten ab. Das ist teils echt gefährlich! Das E LKW Profil ist gut gemeint, jedoch schlecht umgesetzt. Ich werde auch auf kürzesten Strecken, trotz vollem Akku gewarnt, das der Akku nicht reichen würde. Mehrfach muss man dann diese Warnmeldungen weg klicken. Zeitweilig hängt sich die App auf. Einige Sperrungen für LKW werden in der Navigation nicht berücksichtigt. Zum Beispiel in Hamburg A1/255. Man bekommt nur eine Route vorgeschlagen. Fazit: Insgesamt trotz der Bugs, die beste kostenlose LKW Navigation. Ich würde mir für einen einmaligen Obolus einen etwas besseren Support wünschen. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 80€… *2026-08-19* Comment dire aux anciens utilisateurs qui connaissent Road Lords depuis ses débuts, qui ont contribué à améliorer l’application et qui ont toujours pris le temps de faire remonter les points positifs comme négatifs, que vous proposez aujourd’hui un prix aussi exorbitant, sans aucune offre pour les utilisateurs fidèles ? Personnellement, jamais je ne mettrai 807 € dans une application que j’utilise pourtant depuis 2021. Je trouve vraiment dommage de ne pas avoir pensé à une offre ou un tarif préférentiel pour les anciens utilisateurs qui vous accompagnent depuis plusieurs années. Mais alors c’est formidable depuis que j’ai payé, ça ne fonctionne carrément plus. Les itinéraires ne chargent pas, les cartes téléchargées en hors ligne ont disparu, le gps ne fonctionne plus du tout. Je suis hyper déçue et je vais demander un remboursement au service client c’est du n’importe quoi ### 1/5 — Disappointing / Not to Standard *2026-08-04* I used the app for over 1.5 years, a lot of the junctions aren’t named correctly especially when travelling on the motorway (UK) and the notice for turns isn’t to the correct standard / it often warns you regarding lane changes at the last moment and sometimes doesn’t warn you at all especially on stretches of the M42. Sadly, this free app is no hidden behind a 80£ pay wall and there are better options on the market. I tried to do the 7 days free as listed on the interface and it immediately took the money out which is very scammy. Refund requested from App Store. ### 1/5 — Unfortunate *2026-08-02* It’s been one year of using this app which I used quite heavily at first but now only 1-2 times a week so the new £80 sub fee for this definitely isn’t worth it for me I’ll just have to carry my garmin again. For others don’t fall into subscription based apps like this just invest in a garmin or tomtom with free updates and traffic. Also cheaper sat nav’s available if you search. For example, at the black cat in Bedford, that roundabout has had some exits closed for over 2 years, you still see them as a road. How can you ask for so much money for a garbage app? How is it possible to ask me to change the truck settings because that road is not suitable for my truck after you sent me there? Well, do you want me to cut the truck to make it shorter or less high? That's your job to find a way for the truck settings. HMMM LET ME CHANGE THE TRUCK SETTINGS. You don't even deserve half the money you're asking for. Well, I pay tomtom because you really deserve it. ### 1/5 — Paywall *2026-07-31* Have to pay now £80 for a year? Thanks, no thanks. This app was an okay app for free, but I wouldn't even pay half for it. It's very buggy and inconsistant. For the the price they asking now I'd pay for an actual decent app like tomtom which is 100x better. Literally. Das ist wirklich sehr schade. Kurzerhand sind wir auf Eurowag umgesattelt, und wir sind rundum zufrieden. ### 5/5 — Beste LKW navi App *2026-07-01* Die App ist einfach super! Man kann alles einstellen – Fahrzeughöhe, Breite, Gewicht sowie mit oder ohne Anhänger. Die Navigation ist zuverlässig und zeigt unterwegs alles Wichtige direkt auf der Route an, z. B. Restaurants, Tankstellen, Parkplätze und sogar Polizeikontrollen sowie Blitzer. Für mich mit Abstand die beste LKW-Navi-App. Absolute Empfehlung! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ### 5/5 — Top *2026-05-15* Simple et pratique.
