### 4/5 — Great backup when do not have my phone or”key”.

*2023-05-25*

Very useful when I do not have another key. But it takes a while to update each time before it is ready to use. A very good backup!

### 4/5 — Great for my needs

*2021-09-25*

I found this app by looking through options that displayed my vehicle range as a watch complication. That was all I wanted/needed and this app offered me that functionality for a great price.

Would I love to see the rest of the app visually updated: absolutely. But I rarely interact with it (perhaps because of the design, but who knows). My needs are met!

### 4/5 — Drops login

*2021-02-09*

I like this a lot but since a recent update it seems to drop login frequently.

**Developer response:** Hi, Thanks for the feedback! Have you tried using the SSO login? Tesla seems to be migrating to this authentication mechanism and hastening the expiration of logins using the old one.

For further assistance, please use the in-app feedback link from the main menu or login screen. If you supply an e-mail address, we can assist you much better.

### 4/5 — Works ok

*2019-08-12*

I was looking for an Apple Watch app. This one seems to work better than the others I’ve tried. It still seems lacking as it takes a while to connect to the car. Also no drunk or trunk control.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your review. The time delay varies and is usually caused by the vehicle sleeping. Depending on your model, you can sometimes adjust settings on the vehicle (by turning off power savings mode or turning on always connected mode) to minimized these times.
The latest version can control frunk and trunk. You just need to scroll down (using the crown or dragging finger) to the lower part of the screen. You can also create a Siri shortcut to control these via voice.

### 3/5 — Won’t login

*2019-04-25*

App was working perfectly but now will no longer login. Keeps telling me that I have incorrect login info but didn’t change anything. Deleted the app and reinstalled but still won’t login using my tesla credentials

I can’t get in to the app to get to the feedback page because it does right to the login screen but won’t accept my credentials

**Developer response:** Does this still not work? Sometimes Tesla’s servers have issues which temporarily block access in one way or another. Please use the feedback function in the app and supply email address to get more direct support.
—Edit—

I see, thanks for letting us know. Will fix the feedback function in the future. In the meantime, can you verify your login still works with the main Tesla website and/or other Tesla apps? We’ve verified that it still works for us and we’ve seen no other widespread reports of the auth API failing,

### 3/5 — Very limited

*2019-01-27*

I was looking for Apple Watch support and can’t believe Tesla doesn’t have it natively. This app makes a good step forward but the functionality seems very limited to climate, charge limits and unlocking/locking the car. What I really need is Frunk control.

**Developer response:** Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, we will be adding support for these commands in an upcoming version. FWIW, there some watch apps that exist that are a bit more comprehensive but they cost 10x as much as of this writing. We've generally prioritized Info based Complications (which no other app has) and Siri native command support to best take advantage of the watch's form factor.
Tesla models that do a deep sleep also will exhibit about a 10 second lag in response to commands because they need to wake up; bluetooth based mechanisms like the key fob or Tesla's own app won't have this lag.

### 3/5 — Mostly there, minor quibbles

*2017-10-09*

Great complication. The three screens (lock/charge status/climate) are the right choices.

I’d like to see keyless driving added. Perhaps that can’t be supported on Watch as I see Remote S offers on iPhone but not Watch.

While the UI is cleaner than Remote S, I don’t love the use of the green boxes which are taken from the look of customizing complications on Watch faces. The force touch model is good (prevents inadvertent actions). Perhaps the design should be to force touch on the current state to expose options, then picking an option sets it and returns to the prior view with the new value set.

### 1/5 — Unable to use

*2023-02-17*

Unable to login with

### 1/5 — Poor app not worth the download

*2021-03-04*

One of the worst Tesla apps I’ve downloaded and not worth the money.

**Developer response:** Care to be more specific? We've gotten great feedback for our watch complications and Siri shortcut support so your comments are confusing to us. We are also one of the only watch apps to support Tesla's Powerwall and Solar services. If you are running into issues there's a support link within the app to contact us.

### 1/5 — Refund

*2020-03-22*

Can I please get a refund? This app does not work on my Apple Watch.

**Developer response:** Hi, please try rebooting your Apple Watch and reinstalling on the watch. The Apple watch unfortunately gets into weird states from time to time, requiring a reboot to get installs working again. On watchOS 6 you can install either directly from the watch App Store or through the paired phone’s watch app. If you need more help, there’s a feedback/support app where you can input your email address for direct support.

If that fails, you’ll need to contact Apple support for a refund.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-07-02*

Would be nice it it actually worked! I want my
Money back!

**Developer response:** Hi There,
Can you be more specific as to what doesn’t work? The watch app has been around for over 4 years since WatchOS 2.0 and was the first to feature numerous watch features including crown support and complications that display battery level (as opposed to just being a shortcut to the app). The app works for a majority of our users, but once in a while, we know there can be some snags. But to help, we need to know what’s going on. There’s also a feedback button within the app that allows for direct communication and more dedicated support.

### 1/5 — How can I get help?

*2019-03-06*

I purchased this app and it won’t appear on my list of apps on Apple Watch app. Apple Watch settings automatically install compatible apps. Can’t find any way to get support from developer. If you want this app to use on watch, don’t waste your money.

**Developer response:** The app has a feedback page, but users must correctly enter their optional e-mail address in order for us to respond. Due to privacy considerations, there’s NO OTHER WAY for us to contact you if you don’t leave your e-mail address correctly.

IOS can sometimes fail to recognize watch apps. Please try rebooting your phone. If that doesn’t work, try then re-installing the phone app. EV Watch is compatible with watchOS 3.0+.

### 1/5 — No complications

*2018-11-22*

Doesn’t seem to have complications anywhere.

**Developer response:** To add complication you need to
1) Install app on the watch
2) Add complication to watch face by either Force Touch configuration on the watch or through the iPhone Watch Settings app under My Faces
2a) You should be able to see EV Watch under the Complications section on the phone watch settings

If that doesn't work you can submit your e-mail under Feedback on the iOS app to get more detailed support with screen shots.

### 2/5 — Not Great For PowerWall Only

*2023-11-09*

There’s only really 2 apps for PowerWall on the watch.. this one is geared more for those who also have a Tesla car.. I think the app experience should be better if you only have a PowerWall and it should be cleaner and not list all the car objects and allow you to look at screens that aren’t relevant with a swipe. This app wasn’t for me.

### 3/5 — Not keeping up with alternative apps

*2023-09-24*

I originally rated this app a 5 about a year ago, however it has not kept up with ease of use features of other apps that have a small onetime fee. This app can take a long time to connect to the internet while standing and waiting next to the car. The primary benefit of this app now is that it is free and can work, with patience.

### 3/5 — No Celsius an Apple Watch

*2020-10-27*

No Celsius on the Apple Watch. Just in the app.

**Developer response:** Hi, this is a bug which we will fix in the next release. It should eventually fix itself over time, however you can force quit the app on the watch to have it immediately update its units.

### 3/5 — Great on AW4. But doesn’t work on AW3?

*2019-08-13*

Why doesn’t this work as a complication on AW3?

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the review. The app works as far back as watchOS 3.0 with complications. (Although only the series 4 has special watch faces and the special complications that go along with them). Unfortunately, watchOS sometimes doesn’t recognize complications immediately and needs a reboot for them to be recognized. For more direct help, there’s a feedback function in the app where we can provide more timely assistance.

### 5/5 — I love this Ap!

*2022-05-15, version 1.62*

I can open the door and start my Model 3 with my cellular Apple Watch with this ap. I was not sure this ap would start the car but it does! Freedom! But this ap took forever to initially load and I was not able to logon to Tesla through it for a day. Small price to pay for this wonderful Apple Watch / Tesla ap. Thank you very much to the developer! I love it!

### 5/5 — Stopped working

*2022-03-20*

Updated review, working fine and not sure but think Tesla server was disconnected problem, not EV Watch. Thanks for the reply from developer.

**Developer response:** Hi,
Sorry to hear things aren’t working. There’s a feedback button in the app that allows us to provide support. Please use that mechanism as it allows a more fluid communications mechanism and the ability to obtain screen shots or potentially send out pre-release versions to test (via TestFlight).

There are numerous reasons for connection “failures” (what’s not connecting? The watch? The complication? The phone? The car?) including many that are out of our control (Tesla servers, the car, network configuration, wifi, Cellular provider, Internet provider, other 3rd party apps, etc.).

### 5/5 — Support replied

*2021-02-12*

Great support
I initially had issues contacting with support but this was quickly resolved
The application is great and a must have for the Apple Watch
I love it

**Developer response:** Support link is not a web page, but an in-app function that sends messages directly to us. From the main menu, it’s labeled as “feedback”.

Thanks for the note on the website, will update it to a link to our support page (which for now is hosted on Facebook).

Hi There, sorry you’ve been having issues. Did you try using the support link from the app? This will send feedback directly to us. If you include an e-mail address, then we will reply via e-mail so that we can have a two way dialogue.

Tesla has been rolling out two-factor authentication and a new Single Sign-on mechanism. If you use two factor authentication, then you must click the SSO link at the login screen to go to the Tesla SSO login screen.

### 5/5 — Show mileage and percentage

*2021-01-08*

Was wondering if apps can show both at the same time. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Well Done

*2020-12-16*

20-12-15 Update

Super fast response from developer to enhance already superb shortcut support!

Original

Clean and Simple. More importantly, it is fast and reliable. No lags and no timeouts. Perfect watch companion for the Tesla app. Shortcut integration is good and getting better for complex automations.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! As you've noticed, we've optimized the api requests to be as responsive as possible. However, to set expectations for everyone, different Tesla models and firmware behave inconsistently. This is because they sleep differently. Older Tesla vehicles have an "Always Connected" setting which will offer the best responsiveness when turned on.

### 5/5 — Complication 10/10

*2020-11-21*

Brilliant, listening support!

Apple Watch complication is fantastic.

Thank you for listening to my suggestion.

Nov update: since the last update the complication fails all the time.

### 5/5 — Excellent app for Apple Watch

*2020-09-17*

This app is really good for the watch. Tap on the complication and control the Tesla from your watch.

I particularly like the large complication you can put in the modular watch. It shows you if your car is locked so you can be reassured with a quick glance at the watch.

I had a query and the response was virtually instantaneous and friendly.

Good job!

### 5/5 — Very fast

*2017-09-25*

Very fast and efficient to use app, specially on iWatch for me

Would like to see a “start car” button beside the unlock button on the watch app.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2016-11-14*

Only tesla app that has a useful watch app and complication

### 5/5 — Get with if you have a Tesla and a Apple Watch

*2016-04-16*

I love the complication - makes it simple to check SoC at a glance. The use of watchOS UI elements to change charging levels is also well done.
