## What is EVAD Training?

Your season already has a schedule. Your training should match it.

EVAD builds a periodized plan around your real week — practices, meets, and exams go in first, then 3–5 hard days fill the gaps, with rest scheduled on purpose.

• Built around your sport: track, cross-country, figure skating, swimming, wrestling, and strength
• Auto-tapers before your competitions
• Import your training history from another app
• See your PRs, volume, and time under the bar on the Progress tab
• Rest days are part of the plan — not an afterthought
• CREW: share a session with the athletes you approve — friends-only, never public
• Meet Coach EVAD, your pixel-cowboy coach

## Key features

- Periodized training plans
- Schedule integration
- Sport-specific training
- Automatic competition tapers

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-05

Your next block is now built from the weight you actually moved.

ONE THING FIRST
You'll be asked once to agree to our updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Nothing about your account or your training changes.

THE PROGRAM READS YOUR LOG
Until now EVAD built every block from the numbers you typed at signup, so twelve weeks of real training changed nothing about what came next. Now the sets you completed go into the next block — the lifts you actually did, at the loads you actually moved.

APPLE HEALTH
Turn it on in Settings and finished sessions publish to Apple Health from a date you choose. Correct a session's length later and the Health entry is rewritten to match.

EVERY SESSION IN ONE PLACE
A new session history: every workout you have logged, by month, filtered by sport, with the full detail of each one. Share a past session, and fix a session length that came out wrong — including imported sessions that never had one.

TRAIN ON A DAY WITH NOTHING SCHEDULED
Your plan leaves days open on purpose. Those days now offer TRAIN ANYWAY — pick a lift and build the session as you go.

CREW
- One tap makes you friends, both ways, and it says out loud what you are agreeing to
- A friends-only leaderboard on your crew list
- A profile now shows an athlete's level and what they have trained in the last 7 and 30 days
- A SAVED tab, pending request counts, and accept or decline without leaving the list

ROCK CLIMBING
EVAD's 24th sport. It writes the gym work that supports your climbing — the wall is yours.

STREAKS THAT TELL THE TRUTH
Skipping an optional recovery day used to reset your streak to zero while the app told you it was a perfect week. It no longer does, and a longer streak now earns more XP.

LOGGING
LOG SET and NEXT are in the keyboard bar. A rest bar that drains. A chip for the sets you typed but never logged. Undo after removing an exercise. A check before a weight that would be 2.5x your best. And +15s rest now applies to the exercise you are on instead of quietly changing every session after it.

FIXED
- Sets you typed but never tapped LOG SET on now count, and finishing early no longer logs the app's own suggested numbers as your work
- Searching "curls" no longer splits your curl history into two exercises
- Starting a new block puts you in week 1, today — not mid-block with past days marked missed
- Sport sessions read as steps instead of one paragraph
- REMOVE on a friend actually ends the friendship
- Swapping an exercise no longer wipes the session you have open
- A failed load no longer looks like an empty training history
- Journal entries can be edited, and added to a day that has passed
- Every policy now lives in one Legal & policies screen
- Backing out of the first onboarding step offers to save your answers instead of deleting them
- Larger Text, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion fixes across the workout screen, CREW and onboarding

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-24

Reminders that know your schedule. 105 new exercises. Three new sports. And a PR count that finally means something.

TRAINING REMINDERS
Tell EVAD when you train and it reminds you at that time — on the days you actually lift. Rest days stay quiet, meet days stay quiet, and a day you have already trained stays quiet.

292 EXERCISES, UP FROM 187
105 new movements across machines, isolation work, arms, posterior chain, core, carries and grip. Search now finds lifts by the names lifters use, not only their formal ones.

WHY THIS WORKS
Every one of the 292 movements now tells you what it trains and why it earned a place in your plan. On the workout screen and in the exercise picker.

THREE NEW SPORTS
Nordic Skiing, Alpine Skiing and Water Polo, bringing EVAD to 23. Each one arrives with its own events, goals, PRs and practice focus — not a generic plan with a new name on it.

FINISH A SESSION THAT WENT SIDEWAYS
You no longer need every set logged to close out a workout. Log what you did and finish.

SESSION LENGTH
Record how long a session actually took.

SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE
Alongside Apple and email.

FIXED
- We re-read the how-to card on all 292 movements. 30 that were already in your app described a different exercise than their title — the Biceps Curl card taught a hammer curl. All corrected.
- Exercises no longer ask for equipment they do not need. A biceps curl has stopped requesting a leg press.
- When your equipment is limited, substitutions no longer swap a chest press for a forearm roller.
- Your PR count now counts PRs you have hit in the app, not numbers typed during signup. It may go down. It is now real.
- Reminders keep the time you picked, and follow changes to your weekly schedule.
- With Larger Text on, tab labels, the date and unread counts no longer get cut off.
- VoiceOver announces each tab and where it sits in the bar.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-14

A rebuilt Progress tab, plus a long list of fixes.

Before you carry on, you'll be asked once to agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Nothing about your account or your training changes.

PROGRESS, REBUILT
• Every exercise now has its own screen — tap through for its full history
• Switch any chart between bars and a line
• Charts start at a real zero, so a small gain looks like a small gain
• A skipped session is no longer counted as a zero
• Compare your last 7 days instead of a half-finished calendar week
• Records and captions that agree with the number above them

YOUR TRAINING LOG
• Delete a logged session
• Remove a single lift from a session
• Merge two spellings of the same exercise into one

FIXES
• Reduce Motion: content could appear faded or missing entirely. Fixed.
• A deleted program day could never be logged again. Fixed.
• Height is entered as feet and inches, not one long number
• Number fields keep exactly what you type
• The schedule picker tells you when a day is already taken
• Higher contrast throughout, especially in dark mode
• Sessions and stats load in place instead of leaving the screen blank
• Your first day goes straight to your plan
