## What is EVAP.io?

EVAP is a video communication app available for iOS and other smartphones. EVAP uses your phone's Internet connection to let you control your personal information even when making or receiving video calls. With EVAP you can generate spontaneous and anonymous eTokens to video call with others without exchanging any personal contact details. Of course, EVAP also allows you to add friends and family to your group of users.

WHY USE EVAP:

• IMPROMPTU ANONYMOUS CALLS: Online dating, apartment rentals or buying/selling via online ads - EVAP allows you to do video walkthroughs or showcase products, “meet” your online match before sharing personal contact details or arranging a face-to-face date.

•PRIVACY: We respect your privacy – EVAP does not access your contact list, your friends will not receive any sign-up requests without you explicitly requesting it, we do not monitor your calls. We maintain very limited user data on our subscribers (i.e., your login name and push notification token) and do not collect or maintain any data for eTokens (besides the token itself) that you generate and distribute (e.g., no IP addresses).

• CONFIDENTIALITY: We do not collect behavioral data and consequently do not sell or give any data (behavioral, usage) to any third parties for advertising or any other purposes.

• SUBSCRIPTION LIMITATIONS: EVAP currently limits subscribers to six eTokens at any point in time – though of course, you can delete some and create more. These eTokens have a lifespan of 7 days. We are exploring plans for unlimited eTokens and user configurable activation times and lifespans.

• NO CONNECTION OR USAGE FEES: EVAP uses the internet – whether your phone’s data plan (4G/3G/2G/Edge) or your phone’s wi-fi connection (if available) - so you don't have to pay for every video call. Please check with your carrier plan about any applicable data charges.

• EVAP WEB: You can also make and receive EVAP video calls right from your computer's browser. You can publish an eToken online (e.g., evap.io/login.html?token=YOURTOKEN)

• ALWAYS AVAILABLE: With EVAP, subscribers are always logged in so you don't miss video calls. Of course, you can explicitly log out from the control panel.

• QUICKLY CONNECT: To make a video call, just touch the user profile image of an online user you want to connect with and a video call will be initiated.

• EASE OF USE: Because we respect your privacy, we do not access your contacts and we are not aware of who in your contact list might also be an EVAP subscriber. However, you can easily add contacts via their email address and you make and receive calls via their profile image so there's no need to remember usernames.

• OFFLINE Notifications: Even if you miss a call, or turn off your phone, EVAP subscribers can send you an email notification if you are offline.

• AND MUCH MORE: Share your location, invite new subscribers, set your profile picture and display name, view call history, send video mail (beta users), share your screen (certain devices) and more!
