They verify it and block €50 on the card (which is normal since a rechargeable credit card can be used) and then only the amount of kW actually used is charged. As I read in other reviews, it can definitely be improved both in terms of real-time display of the kW recharged / cost and in the speed of charging, but other than that, no one else can compete with EVDC's prices. You are phenomenal! I also had problems with some charging stations that blocked and by writing a mail, they resolved the charging / debit issue within an hour.
