When I tried to edit the schedule, I couldn't do it. I also couldn't delete it or add a new schedule. After reading other reviews here, it seems I need to reset my device and start over. That doesn't seem like a good or sustainable solution and has made me rethink my opinion of Eve products. Super uninformative, even though it is cluttered with information — gotta be a genius to somehow make that. The charts have lots of numbers and words, but they don’t mean anything because they have nothing to do with reality. The app will never tell you if a device (even an official Eve device) is offline. At its best, it’s a roll of the dice if it works or not. At its worst, it just doesn’t work. Customer service not helpful. ### 3/5 — Verschlechterungen auf breiter Front *2025-12-22, version 6.4.0* Tolles System, gute App vor 10 Jahren. Mit Matter ging’s bergab. Zeitpläne lassen sich nicht mehr aussetzen, (Dienst-)Reisen lassen sich nicht mehr einfach einplanen, so dass die Heizung aus geht wenn man weg ist und es wieder schön warm ist wenn der Flieger landet. Das muss jetzt manuell geschaltet werden (es fehlt die Möglichkeit Timer für Regeln zu setzen) und mit Regeln muss man den Zeitplänen aufwendig gegensteuern, anstatt sie temporär auszusetzen. Das aktuelle Update schlägt dem Fass den Boden aus: bis gestern konnte ich wenigstens noch minutengenau gegen den Zeitplan steuern, jetzt wird mindestens mal 10 Minuten geheizt bis die dumme Regel dann in kurzem Zeitintervall, den für die Anwesenheit gedachten Zeitplan, wieder entgegen steuert. Was soll sowas? Es ist eh schon dumm so eine absurde Steuerung zu erzwingen, aber dann auch so grobe Zeitfenster anzubieten, die Zwangsläufig zu Energieverschwendung führen ist unverständlich. ### 1/5 — Seen worse but.. *2025-12-18, version 6.4.0* I regret the purchase, never Eve again due to very bad support. Seen worse products but this one is expensive and was supposed to be great. ### 1/5 — Frustration *2025-12-13, version 6.4.0* I have three Eve outlets that I have had so much trouble with over the past couple of years. They disconnect randomly and need resetting. It seems like every time there’s an iOS update they lose connection, all of their support steps do nothing. They just keep telling you to reset your router and devices, which does absolutely nothing. I just put in a support ticket and the response time is at least 3 days. I’m going to get a different product instead of waiting for a fix just to have it happen again ### 1/5 — Overpriced product poor feature *2025-12-07, version 6.3.16* I run a home assistant fully automated setup with 3 other watering units from sonoff, all work perfectly except this overpriced Eve Aqua. No support for standard matter thread. Tied to Apple only. Motion sensors and light switches consistently stop communicating every few days. The app is no help all for diagnosing the problems. The only solution is to reset devices, clear every remnant out of every Apple device, and start over. At least once a week. Unreliable devices, unhelpful company… the app doesn’t really matter anymore. ### 1/5 — Still Doesn’t show correct temperature! *2026-07-31, version 6.5.0* Clearly no interest in sorting this bug!! Not quite sure what you’re supposed to do with it. Very hard to use. Don’t even really know what the purpose of it is. It is not intuitive at all. Can’t read half of the names because they force you to use these stupid colors like red and blue and yellow. You can barely read them. Why can’t you just make it all one color. Stop with the stupid room types and pictures. I just want to read the damn thing! Try to edit and it only gives me that one color to choose from. Really stupid design. This entire app needs to be overhauled. The switches suck too. If you have LED lights do not buy these switches!! Turn one switch on, randomly others turn on. Not all the time, but they go crazy 75% of the time. Very disappointed with these switches and this app. Waste of money. Push some firmware updates and fix your switches! Fix this app too so we can not use your stupid colors and pictures for rooms! Slow for respond via Siri even with multiple HomePods and Apple TVs acting as hubs throughout the house “this so taking longer than expected”. I hear this every day! Whenever I try to turn on our office switch within this app, it either doesn’t work or it takes forever. Chatting with tech-support online then having a phone call with tech-support online. Since it doesn’t connect to the Wi-Fi, it would only connect through my Apple TV. When I programmed a schedule, it doesn’t work because when I’m not watching my Apple TV, my Apple TV is off. It’s been a year now and my shades are still broken. I was not able to add any new automation rules to my HomeKit. In the Apple Home no automations were visible. However the error message was the limit reached to add more automations. This Eve app was the only app that was able to show me the dead legacy automation rules. I had 150 rules. Zero on the Apple Home. Honestly this application saved me from a few days of work to rebuild my entire Apple Home system. Maximum respect for the Developers. I’m so amazed that I seriously plan to change many things in my house for EVE’s product. I don’t mean to control anything from the Tv but just to use a 32 inch screen to give us a glance of some devices in the house (temperature sensor, fan, door lock, etc). I use it to delete these superfluous entries and keep my smart home running. It would be nice if Apple fixed their software, but this will do for now. ### 5/5 — Bardzo pomocna aplikacja *2025-03-19, version 6.3.5* Aplikacja bardzo pomaga w codziennym zarządzaniu inteligentnym domem. Posiada kilka dodatkowych opcji względem wbudowanej „Dom”, jak status sieci Thread, czy możliwość zapisania w pamięci kodów Matter (Setup Code). Jedyne ograniczenia aplikacji wynikają z narzuconych przez samo HomeKit dla aplikacji trzecich. Dodatkowo pozwala sprawdzać szczegóły (jak historyczne dane, zużycie prądu, ruch, kiedy światło było zapalone a kiedy zgaszone itp.) z urządzeń Eve. ### 5/5 — Where is my review? *2025-02-06, version 6.3.1* I just spent an hour typing a review and it just disappeared before I hit submit.
